Everything about Forest this season has been about riding a wave of momentum in spite of all prevailing statistics (and my own eyes tbh) saying they were going to drop away at some point. A collapse in results at this stage is huge for confidence because of all the teams up there it seems most likely to spiral for them IMO.

The problem is the other 2 teams that most likely could have won it Frankfurt and Bilbao have already qualified for UCL via their league. Winning Europa while fighting for simultaneously having to bring a top 4 quality in the league will eventually tire a team out who don't have the depth for it. They are just trying limp torwards the finish line. It's most likely the reason why West ham easily walked the conference league while getting 14th but Aston Villa failed to get into the semi finals but had top 4 in the league.

In a fair world Forest are winning the europa league for their efforts. Twice the side of them jammy cunts.

They've lost 3 of their last 4 league games now, two of which at home. It's still in their hands but this would be a big blow.
