Would really tick a lot of boxes for us if he played for Newcastle. LCM or RCM, #10, CF, winger.
-
Sounds like they will be part of the Sela weekend regardless.
-
@Deuce def has a Fraser’s membership the absolute freak and weirdo.
-
Scores bangers, eats bangers. You are what you eat and all that.
-
His social media is so funny
-
Any self respecting NUFC fan with a Frasers membership should be beaten, tarred and feathered then hoyed off the Tyne Bridge.
-
Be mad if we eventually could have a deep, talented bench where we have 3-5 pressing monsters we could bring on to continue the intensity.
-
As always I think we need to view players in a few different buckets before you fully have a stance on a signing. *1 how player performing stats wise in their current team? *2 could the player have played better with proper coaching and stability? *3 does said player fit in our team? *4 how does Eddie and the coaching staff take this player up a notch or 3? *5 is he coachable? Whether its Elanga, Barcola or Mbuemo - you could see Eddie making each of these players really deadly in our system, particularly those who are open and willing to be coached.
-
I agree with you, I’m just saying what I think we will do.
-
Cool. I'm able to watch the games just the same as you do too. The PSG front three typically interchange all the time. They aren't even static. Barcola ends up through the middle and on the right throughout the game. It's the same with both Kvaratskhelia and Dembele. Well see it again tonight in the final. I imagine he's more concerned with not playing as much going forward, especially with how much Desire Doue is coming along, and the fact PSG always keep spending.
-
Yep that’s the thing, one bad season and your done. We could do with a few of the big 6 supporting yes teams dropping out of the premier league or actually showing some level of ambition. They need to realise teams like Newcastle, villa and forest are not the threat, it’s their big 6 buddies. If we had a season like spurs or Man U we’d be absolutely fucked, but they just get to go again.
-
If Diaz jumps ship maybe they'll come back in for him though Gordon wouldn't be an upgrade.
-
They are £5 more, but £5 less if you have a Frasers+ membership.
-
What window should we? We really need to try and kick on
-
I’m just looking forward to finding out who we need to beat to be Champions of Europe.
-
Wouldn't have happened under Mitchell's watch.
-
Sell Gordon to Liverpool and bring him in?
-
I live in France, PSG are on all the time, Barcola when he's picked plays wide left as does Kvarakvaratskhelia which is why he's often on the bench and presumably not that happy. He would be an upgrade on Gordon and Barnes but he's not signing for anyone to play on the right wing.
-
...and yet if you do make the CL, you still probably won't be able to invest enough to build a squad capable of competing in Europe and finishing top 4/5 domestically so at best it's one season in, one season out. The more I think of it the more I think Eddie is working absolute miracles. To have gone 4th, 7th, 5th while being the 10th biggest spenders in that time (12th in the past two seasons) is remarkable.
-
I mean in the knockouts they were the best team, they struggled to make it out of the league format though.
-
And somehow managed to still finish 5th. It’s an amazing achievement when you at what the teams around have spent in comparison.
-
Got an unexpected nod that a “major” signing is expected by the end of this mini transfer. Got a separate message that failure to qualify for the CL would have forced the sale of a top player. Both player ambition and the need to freshen up the squad. PSR has to change, the implications for the likes of us, Villa, Forest or any club wanting to really go for it and have the money for it seem to get more desperate every year. Fail to make the CL and you risk your whole longer term strategy going up the wall and a new cycle begins. Sky 6 excluded. It’s crazy that we’ve gone 3 windows without a signing.
-
Yeah they are, fiver cheaper than club shop and JD which I assume is the donation to the foundation
-
Not sure we need upgrade on Nick Pope this window, he's still a decent GK.
