  1. Past hour
  2. But there wasn’t a badge then. They didn’t have one.
  3. Newcastle fans between 1892-1989 would never have even seen this badge so I don't think so, no. Our generation maybe, but then there'll be a new badge and that'll be deemed "the" badge in 40 years time.
  4. Zunderland have won a game, now someone called MadMackem10 on RTG is pondering a transfer for Joe Bellingham to MADRID!

Love how they're starting to arc up again after spawning a 1 goal lead on aggregate. They never lorn do they.
  6. I've got to admit, it bothers me less than I thought it would. Though that could all change if the new crest looks shit I suppose.
  7. Thing that pissed me off the last time is the shirt didn’t change, so I had the old one with the ‘NUFC’ stylised badge on and the next season the same shirts bore the new crest. I can’t remember anyone complaining although it was obvious the new badge was a homage to the old city crest. There certainly wasn’t any ‘fan consultation’ that’s for sure.
  8. A late switch to Brentford is tempting...
  9. Show me a picture of Sandro wearing it and I’ll buy one on the spot. Each to their own but I like it (except you Noon, you can fuck off).
  10. I'm hoping there will be some cracking adidas Originals next season to make up for that.
  11. Can’t recall there being much of a kick off when it changed previously… Bottom line is they’re wanting to change for a reason and if it makes commercial sense they’ll do it… sentiment doesn’t come into play now especially for a badge that’s been changed previously… I’m more concerned about keeping a city centre stadium, building on carabao cup success, securing champions league football and continuing to progress on all fronts…. And this is what we’re looking at after countless years of shite bar a few in the 90’s… Nobody is not going to buy a new top or throw their season ticket in because of it… life is good….
  12. Christ, that orange outline around the sponsor better glow in the dark. Going to win the league, FA Cup and Champions League next season with the trifecta of worse kits ever.
  13. That's noot the best one I've seen. We'd be lunie to go with it. But yes AI is dire when you try to get it to replicate text 😅

Missed that, my bad. Carry on folks.
  15. It shouldn’t count as a good season for Man Utd, but if I was a Spurs fan and they won I’d view it as the best season of the PL era
  16. Excited to see them both at next summers World Cup.

If Sunderland get past Coventry and If they then beat Sheffield Utd and If they spend £100m+ on the squad.... they stand a chance of getting 20 points next season. The gulf has never been bigger and all 3 promoted teams face a huge battle to finish above just one of the current 17 PL teams. My money is on the 3 of them all going straight back down again with a large bag of parachute cash, the humiliation seems to be worth it for many fans
  20. Constantly cutting to the dog wanting someone, anyone, to throw the ball for her.
  21. I expected it to change a bit but for people not to be bothered I don’t understand. They’ve got all the money in the world. Do it right and take care of it rather than changing it because it looks funny on a website.
  22. FWIW I'm not against a change, it's all going to hinge on what it's like. If it's like the Ash Willerton one I'll welcome it with open arms, if it's some simplified shite with some lip service that's been added retrospectively then I'll be against it. Don't think the club's gone about it in the right way at all though.
  23. Fair enough but in 55 years of support they’ve worn that badge for 37 years of it. Becomes part of it for me.
