General NUFC stuff: club crest to be changed (Official)

I wouldn’t like to see us revert to an old crest. I think each crest defines an era and that’s how it should stay. Id love to keep the current crest, but can see why they want to change it. What I don’t like is the sly way of forcing it through, like one sided surveys and using deliberately crap pictures of the current crest to make their point. Ultimately, if the main reason why they want to change the crest is because it’s too complicated to manufacture, then they need better manufacturers. -
Hope there were no MLFs tuned into Talksport this morning. Simon Jordon saying he expects Coventry to turn this around at Sunderland and had a pop at their home crowd as well. Mentioned the time when he owned Crystal Palace. Said they played Sunderland in the Play Offs back in 2004. They were warned to expect a barrage of noise and a proper hostile environment but it was nothing of the sort. Stadium nowhere near full and Palace ended up going through on pens. Still don't see Coventry winning. Sunderland are bad but sadly Coventry are worse again. They were fighting relegation when Lampard came in and although he's done a remarkable job to get them where they are there's a reason why they lost 17 league games in the weakest Championship probably ever.

Aye, he's not been an auto cap for ages. Haaland either...
-
No issue with them doing that. Long throw ins are neanderthal tactics anyway.
-
Aye I had to scroll a long time to find your name pal I'm having a shocker too. Never recovered from backing against Salah early in the season. It's been green arrows for months but starting from such a low base it's been tough.

As a professional graphic designer, any doubts over the future of my profession in the age of AI have well and truly been eradicated upon browsing this thread. Thank you. -
Our Kryptonite does certainly seem to be any teams between 8th and 12th.

Vlahovic is absolutely built for the premier. Juve are just ran horrendously. I'm surprised no one has took a punt considering the prices of some strikers
-
The first dive was ridiculous and it probably contributed to him not getting a call in the second half. I don't mind him deploying dark arts to get something if it's warranted.
-
Just the Italian press thirsting for Tonali and using Vlahovic as bait, thinking we’re not worthy of such a player and that “he’s Italian so must hate Newcastle and dream of returning home asap because he was forced here against his will”. They’re like the ex who thinks you still want them back and you never actually even think about them. Their world is one where Botman and Sandro wouldn't even spit on us but in reality Sandy’s agent said he imagines Sandro’s future being “far away from Serie A” and Botman wanting to sign a new deal here.

What I have learned from this thread: The less they can involve fans in the creation of this new crest, the better. -

An explainer of our potential riches https://www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11095/13364260/champions-league-prize-money-how-much-premier-league-clubs-could-earn-from-revamped-competition -
Vlahovic is on ridiculous money at Juve, so I think we all know where that one can be filed…
-
It's mindblowing to me that people think we should sign a CM over a GK! Pope can go down as a legend for the club for what he's done, but I guarantee no top 6 clubs in the Premier League would want to take him, you can probably go as far as to say top 10, maybe even top 15. Some people massively underestimate the power of an elite GK, it's essential we upgrade our GK in the Summer.
-
Delap would be a great signing and seems like a great addition to the dressing room, where thats not known with Sesko. Its Sesko at 60mil that would get me interested, if he played that well in the prem he's a 120mil player.
-
Dusan would be an opportunistic move at low transfer cost (high wages) with a clear intention IMO that he will be sold in 12 months.
-
He’s still basically ‘cheif scout’. Mitchell being around probably takes away the need to use his name to fill column inches though.
-
Trafford is a no brainer for me. Should have got him last summer but IMO we can't afford to miss out on him. Pope is fine and maybe he could go another season as first choice but I think we'd hugely regret not getting Trafford while we can. He'll be the best keeper in the Premier League in two/three years time.
-
Does anyone know what's happened to Nickson? He was deeply involved before Mitchell came, rarely hear of him now days
-
Sweet little pass to Bruno too. Drags the ball back and then plays it with the outside of his foot, defender was not ready for that shit from Burny.
