  2. Just go spend 200m and worry about the psr next season. Getting Trafford, Elanga, Pedro and a defender sets us up for a few seasons and should allow us to then build underneath the squad with upcoming players/academy and look to strengthen with 1 or 2 each year. Would have a young first 11 overall and potential for profit on quite a few if needed to next few years

  4. Was just about to post, absolutely no one apart from those within the club know what we have to spend.
  5. Where are the survival odds? I can only find ‘to be relegated’?
  6. In the video he says Chelsea like him and are "having conversations because they like Joao Pedro" while we are actively working on the deal
  7. How can we be sure what Nick Pope is referring to? Perhaps they arranged a day out at the zoo together when Trafford gets back?

I predict the Nissan overtime to start in September when they are rock bottom and been hammered a few times. They may sign a few good players but untried at this level and they still have a load of shit unless they replace 8 or 9
  9. He’s notoriously thin skinned. Banned a raft of fans that year when he was caught hiding in the bushes outside the training ground😂
  10. Chelsea. So that’s that one dead then. Why even bother when they are basically just allowed to stock pile players and rotate their entire starting 11 every transfer window. The premier leagues allowing their acrobatics in the accountancy department is pretty galling too. If we tried something similar there’d be a transfer limit imposed and forensic accountants dispatched within a week.
  11. Said he removed it cause our fans were giving him grief about it, whatever that means.

I'm half hoping they have a decentish start as their current odds on survival are shit.
  13. That's the perfect summation of McClaren, I remember sticking up for him a fair bit, as he seemed a decent bloke, and you could see what he was trying to implement, he was just incredibly poor at doing that, and ultimately he was just out of his depth. I also think towards the end you could visibly see the stress on his face, that it made me feel a little sorry for him. Personally I don't include him at the same level as Bruce, Pardew and Carver, McClaren was a bit of a wet fart, where as the other three where full blown Nora virus, they all seemed vindictive and like they purposely chose to fight with the fans and showed them 0 respect, you didn't get that with Schteevve.
  14. Maybe wrong but it's doing exactly what it was supposed to do. See also Champions league, PSR etc etc etc.
  15. It's just wrong... https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cy7n0vmegzpo
  16. Might have been a bit different if we'd managed to bring Cabaye back that summer when he was linked a bit before he went to Palace. I'm sure we went half a season with Anita & Colback as the double pivot though until Shelvey arrived.
  17. These cunts actually going to stay up?
  18. He appears to have removed the £125m figure and changed it to "with a certain amount to spend"
  19. Romano cheekily claiming this as an exclusive
