Any Newcastle United fan referring to Man United as United needs telt. Any fan of any club called with United in their name referring to Man United as just United needs telt. I'll call any cunt out who does it in person too. Fine for locals of Manchester to say it...not an issue. -
Szczesny says Joan Garcia is the best keeper in La Liga (so do many fans). Good enough for me. Hope it happens. (I copy pasted his name, honest guy)
-
Exactly this. When a non native Mancunian refers to 'United', I always ask 'Sheffield or Newcastle?'. Mostly there'd be a confused pause and then the perpetrator will reply 'sorry, I mean Manchester United'. A little victory for non-Newton Heathers in my tiny mind. .

you are right as the double of villa and chelsea is 4/5 which added with arsenal double chance bumps it to 6/5 which make it less than 50% chance of happening
-
The biggest victim here is Forest Green Rovers. They are the real Forest.

There is absolutley no danger of Man Utd or Spurs doing us any favours, they effectivley forfeited the league in Feb/Mar. The good news is that since Eddie's come in, we've become better at getting ourselves over the line when we need to, this season especially. It'd be nice for one of those useless fucks to help us out tonight, but I have every faith that we'll take care of business ourselves anyway.
-
A few already have him on the scrap heap 🤣
-
If he stays fit I’m certain that he will be in the team of the season.
-
I'll be watching the games tonight more in hope than anything else. For all that players will be concentrating on the final, surely a few will want to come in and stake a claim to be playing in it? And surely neither will want to go into it on the back of a hammering either. Anyway, while yes there's always a chance, like most, I do think in reality it's all most likely to go down to the last game.

Razer and Ando regularly refer to us as United, we chant United, and we're literally Newcastle United. It should blow my mind that there are Newcastle fans who don't get it, but nothing surprises me anymore. -

Don't think the issue is them calling themselves United, or people from the area. Makes sense for people in Manchester, differentiating between two Manchester teams. I'd expect people in Sheffield referring to United to mean SheffU. It's about the rest of the country. Same with City. People locally did refer to us as United sometimes. See nufc.com for example of older gen still doing it. It's getting killed off by ManU's dominance. Tbh doesn't actually bother me that much, slightly irks. I'd prefer us be known as Newcastle than United anyway. Seems like a losing battle, but I'd never naturally call them United. They're ManU. -

Can we take him off the transfer list?

How is this Spanish lad in terms of playing it out from the back?
-
I never understood trying to sell a relatively young player on a low-ebb for cheap unless desperate for money.

Dont really get what the big deal is myself. If they want to calling themselves United fans(which 90% do where im from) who cares. Its fucking ironic considering the city is infact not united, but still just a name. -
I think it's really difficult to improve on Pope the way Pope initially improved on Dubs. He came in and was imperious until the red card. Improved us in every way and his on the ball work was less noticeable. When he got injured we felt a massive backslide in composure in defence. A marked decline in dealing with crosses and shot stopping but it became more noticeable that Dubs was better on the ball. Pope skills + distribution is an elite GK

They are missing both Maddison and Kulu. It's yours to lose.

That Jan window in its entirety was incredible. Every single one (bar Woods) over performed even on the most optimistic expectations
