  1. Past hour
  2. KeithSOS there, typing from his jail cell on the special wing. In that tweet he says, whilst CRYING WITH LAUGHTER, we are the 7th biggest spenders in the league and finished a whole point above 7th. However that's a good return isn't it? Doesn't it mean we are overachieving? Why does he think thats so funny?
  3. Reminds me of my younger days when pre season friendlies against Juve and Barca were the norm It is nice being a proper club again
  4. Nibble nibble spit spit...🐟
  5. Overlords who've taken a club not fit for purpose to one which has qualified for the CL in 2 of its 3 full seasons and won a cup.
  6. Ā£25m sounded about right tbh, but he’s their player. And Dortmund and Bellingham seem to have gobshited to the press prematurely, so I can understand them playing hardball. Interesting that no English PL club seemed remotely interested in him. Probably because their scouts have seen him.
  7. Sounds like they're going to have a huge overhaul of the squad and bring in some top tier players in.
  8. The only players I would take a gamble are Mainoo and Antony
  9. Yeah I really dont get the delusional part. None of us thought we were as big as Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal. But about the same level as Villa, Everton and Spurs. And looking at both the Premier League and the total English football history that seems about right I think.
  10. Al Hilal after Theo Hernandez, Oshimen and Ederson according to Di Marzio.
  11. I yearn for the days of watching Francesco Coco bombing down the wing against Yeading.
  12. 40m Euros mind, so closer to 34/35m pounds. Still seems an awful lot like. But on the other hand, cheap for a generational talent…
  13. I would take Sancho for a price and salary that represents his ability and the risk, but that is impossible. He’d have to accept an ~80% drop in salary and Man Utd would have to accept an under Ā£10m fee. But he’d be absolutely mental to agree to leaving Ā£13m a year odd in wages on the table, even if it would be a fantastic footballing decision for him as an individual.
  14. Was personally hoping for the likes of Gateshead and York.
  15. Don't blame Sunderland for trying to play hardball, exactly what they should be doing. But 40m is an outrageous sum for a player who has never kicked a ball in the top flight and hasn't exactly been tearing it up every week in the Championship either. Can't help but think that "Decent young player in a 6th(?) placed Championship team" is about £10-15m? £40m feels like a proven, well-performing PL player.
  16. I would love to say Man U seem to be in a black hole financially with Sancho and Fernandes transfers not happening but they will somehow squirm out of it.
  17. Can I please be banned until 14th August? This is shiiiiite.
  18. More chance of him wanting pneumonia again, but yeah probably.
  19. If Eddie wanted Sancho would we get excited?
