I just can’t see a situation where we sell him this summer going into the CL and I’m guessing Howe and PIF are adamant he goes nowhere for now. It’s far more likely we sell him next summer to a club on the continent with two years left on his contract. I actually expect him to go next summer to be fair.

I agree he is the best striker but if we sell him for 150M and buy Groykes and Mbuemo I feel we will be a better team

That's only if the selling club needs the money for PSR this financial year, otherwise they're always going to be better off with the sale going through in the next financial year so the profit counts towards PSR for three years rather than two.

Yeah it’s their rave club from the early 90s. Went there regularly and it was a genuinely brilliant place. If you were into that scene of course. I wasn’t necking anything but others definitely were. I was through there last weekend for a Blue Monkey reunion night (which was absolutely tremendous, to be fair) at the club Elysium in the city centre. Got the Metro through and I was shocked at the state of the area from the walk to the club from the Metro station. Last time I had a night out there was about 15 years ago and the place has gone even further downhill by the looks of things. Seems like their Stack at Seaburn is the place for a night out now as the centre of town is an absolute hole.
