We’re obviously hoping that either Chelsea or Villa drop points tonight (unlikely but you never know) or that we can somehow pull off a win on Sunday which would be amazing. But it’s almost certainly going to come down to us putting Everton away on Sunday. That could be a tough fixture as they’ve picked up recently but I’m still confident of this team and its mentality having the composure to get the job done. (There’s obviously other squeaky bum situations relying on the final Forest match but we don’t want to go there at all!)

Both class, Cunha seems to be one of those players who just takes the game, every time he gets the ball there's so much purpose, really stands out in the age of playing it safe.

I respect Guehi far more than any of the players who just go along with whatever they're told, in case it lessens their next boot deal. When it comes down to it English players would play with a MacDonalds logo replacing the 3 Lions... 'as representatives of England, we know what the badge means to the fans, but we have to remember all the good MacDonalds does in not just our communities, but in developing nations and in supporting grassroots football. Yes. Really hoping we somehow get Cunha to play exactly this role, though I know the Man U rumors are strong with him. Eze also interesting there. Honestly would rather stick with Murph RW for another year if that was a price of prioritizing a Cunha instead. Think it would lift our attack so much.

Anyone else think we badly need a quick, technical player who can play central midfield as the furthest forward? Our counter attack isn't all that threatening which should improve with an Mbuemo level on the right, but many times this year we've been missing someone quick, who can dribble and pass on the counter, and has dribbling and playmaking qualities on the edge of the box. Too often its Joelinton bursting through, and when we need goals it breaks down far too often. Thought we looked our most fluid in ages that 1st half against Chelsea because Gordon was often available more infield closer to Sandro and Bruno.

This is kind of thing people would take the piss out of the mackems for. He’s won Liverpool’s second title in 30 odd years in his very first season.
