Hard to say, I’d say both similar quality but very different styles. Not sure Madueke is available mind. -

Maybe Chelsea would allow a ‘loan to buy’ like Hall potentially giving us a bit of breathing space. -
Old town square Albufeira, pan pipe Indians playing wise men say Portugal has fallen (yes before any cunt asks I’m away)
-
That would essentially be around £140m though Who the hell would we sign as CB? Or is that going to be this summers RW position. After not signing one last summer, we don't this summer, and roll with Schar, Botman, Burn and Lascelles still

Is Elanga better than Madueke? I really rate him and he’s probably available a bit cheaper than Elanga. -
A cult image of all three holding their shirts in same image early July.

Still think we'll need a body at CM. -
Grok, please put Margot Robbie's head on Sweeney's body, and give her Daddario's eyes.
-
And please attach relevant images to help explain your choices
-
If you had to pick one, who would it be and why?
-
Maybe, but we're obviously going about it more cautiously and I think we have potential to grow more consistently than Villa. Although we might not feel they are using that advantage enough, we have the wealth and influence of a state behind us and so have more ability to keep increasing commercial revenue over time. The whole purpose of the changes to APT and FMV that the PL brought in, and were found to be unlawful, was that they were concerned that the current rules are inflationary, that they would allow APT deals to be increased over time. Also, the connections that our owners have mean that we have the potential to get better deals from some non-associated parties, for example our deal with Adidas is reportedly double what Villa get.
-
No doubt it would improve us, but there is not a single name in that lot that really excites me. I think Trafford and Pedro have the potential to be top players. Elanga I’m not sure is a good fit for what we need, and Guehi I’m far from convinced about. For the outlay of probably around 200m I’d not be overly excited. Not that I think we have anything like that amount to spend anyway.
-
We squeaked Forest, and now they are going to help us upgrade the RW? Would take an insane fee.
-
I can launch a triple swoop for Sweeney, Daddario and Robbie but we all know how it’s going to go
-
3/4 were playing for a comically inept ManU side, tbf.
-
The Luke Edwards kiss of death ffs
-
For me Simply must sign a top notch right sided centre half. asking our midfield to cover so much ground undid us a few times last season so let's get that issue sorted.
-
We are getting a squad for this, but like to think approaching it in a better way. Villa route is working for them in short term, but will always say their approach under Monchi will end in tears because only Emery is holding it together. The turnover of players and amount signed isn't financially efficient. All well and good signing someone for £45m and selling them for £45m the following summer to enable some more spending, but the signing on fees/agent costs are just wasted money then.
-
Looking forward to all three being knocked back.
-
Unimaginative or not, it'd still improve us immeasurably. It'd be a very exciting summer.
-
Remarkably unimaginative and, I imagine, expensive

Exactly. The only way for any other team to consistently get top 6-like revenue.... is to consistently finish in the top 6. Therefore, having an extended period of losses and/or overperformance. That's true of us and Villa. We can accelerate revenues through dodgy sponsorships up to a point but that's still reliant on overperformance on the pitch. This is why I adovocate pushing hard in the transfer market this season to compound last years CL success. CL is £50m per year in cash and indirectly worth loads in sponsorships. Main thing is qualifying for that back-to-back and only missing seasons by exception. The revenues will follow. -
At what point can we start to command the same price, as fair market value, for our sponsorship deals as the "cartel clubs", even if they are related to PIF? Surely we can make a case to charge the same as Man U and Spurs given our league finishes over the last few years and winning the cup? I'd be fairly confident that we'd win any court case and I'm also sure a costly legal battle is the last thing the PL would want.
-
I think the biggest shame in all of this is that we as fans have become so hung up about the price we pay for a player, it’s soul destroying. IMO, Elanga will absolutely improve the team, suits our style of play and has potential to get better too. The irony is that the football world has become obsessed with PSR and all the shite that comes with it….ive literally just finished a conversation with an Everton fan and it was pretty much the first thing he was able to talk about (their position). I hope we sign Elanga, couldn’t give a fuck how much for as I trust the club and Eddie enough to do the right thing…also, whatever the price is, it’ll be less…Forest are bullshitters of the highest order.

If it was anyone other that gimpy bald nonce reporting it, I may have sat up slightly in my seat
