Hard to turn down that kind of money though

Be interesting to see how that one doesn’t work out, because none of them do. Wonder whether Bruno Fernandes will adapt well to being challenged for the main man role. Wolves best be careful about replacing him, hes responsible for so many of their goals. I suspect they’ll pocket the change and buy someone inferior, gambling on the football league guests not having the quality or funds.

Year before was the crusher for most I believe. Surprised we got as far as we did in anything under Souness

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season
Danh1 replied to InspectorCoarse's topic in Football
That press conference was class like, just pure honesty, no keeping cards close to his chest. Interesting to hear how even he had concerns about our season fizzling out after the final. Really hope he’s backed this summer. Couple of early signings and the buzz will be incredible. -
Scenes when Trafford and DCL are the only signings by August

@Mazzy Fair enough on the wages but I would have hoped players considered the sporting side as well. Man U is a mess, he’s probably arrogant enough to believe he can solve their woes but there’s limits to what they can spend in order to support him especially with the number of players they need to improve on. No decent striker, Rashford stinking the place out as Villa aren’t keeping him now, a past it Casemiro, Garnacho likely to leave, Onana not wanted, Lindelof and Eriksens contract expiring. New signings like De Light, Dorgu and Ugarte have been poor. It will take a couple of seasons to change things in my opinion.

Can’t argue with any of that, Souness 🤦♂️

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League

My memory fails me. It just remember thinking we should’ve won if not did the injuries but in retrospect we were never going to amount to anything under Souness. He was in the process of gutting Robsons side. He let Bellamy go on loan that January, Bellamy would’ve killed sporting. Think Bellamy ended the season our joint top scorer despite leaving in January. -
I'd let you stop at mine.

1oo%, wasn't that crazy? Rush out and take out a guy heading alone straight for goal? I get the butterfly effect of "If we got the first goal the game would have been different" on the disallowed goal. If my uncle had tits he'd be my auntie. Moot point.

That sounds like an offer - bagsy the settee -
Wew, just seen Romano has confirmed it! He'll probably be one of their best players whilst they have another poor season imo
-
What on earth is going on with Curtis Jones' accent.
-
Cunha is honestly a lunatic for going there. He'd have much better options, surely.
-
Just seen Martinez's sending off. Did he do that because he's leaving? Despite the contentious not given goal, Villa can have no complaints about today.
-
Crazy how 'guaranteed' Cunha seems to be for Man U
-
Admittedly I was watching 2 screens but Man U were really good. All over them from the start.
-
Is that the game he fell out with Robert the night before? Memories of a Steven Carr disaster class as well! If it’s the game I’m thinking about, it’s anger over sadness for me
-
At least their match DJ got some practice in this year by playing the Europa League tune. Will allow them to hit the ground running.

Agree with this. The floor of Chelsea’s squad in ability is crazy high (except the GK and ST). Their 20-25 players would’ve probably started for us today -
Definitely with @Stifler on seeking some Sporting retribution.
