They could also sell the club from under him for next to noubt so he'd end up about £250m worse off rather than better off.

Could you really see Ashley putting his own Club into Administration and accept anything from 1p to 10p in the pound settlement when someone else jumps in to snap up the absolute bargain that NUFC would become? It's 99% bullshit the article. That's what I said last week when somebody told me they'd heard this rumour. It just doesn't make sense at all. Ok I know noubt about finance. But if he did this, Mike Ashley owns the debt of the club. Therefore the club owes Mike Ashley money. By putting the club into administration doesn't that mean that Ashley gets to leave the club with his £250m that the club owes him (or whatever that amount is) and he can then sell the club for 1p, still making a profit even through relegation?

Reading it there is noubt in the story. Be nice if the club bothered with some "communication" like they promised.

Theres been something mentioned on the Sunday Supplement on Sky about us going into administration as well, suprised thats not on bbc. It was the back page of one of the papers not sure which.

I don't think he is no, I think he's saying you just have to try and get the right balance with Newcastle fans, and he's right. If you don't you end up with the problems we have now. But you can't bow to the fans every whim else we have the problems we have with the last guy who picks managers to please the fans rather than to run the club and then fires them just as quick again to please the fans.
