  1. Go on then - tell me which of our attacking midfielders are better? We don't really have any attacking midfielders to tell you the truth. But we can do better. But go ahead, sign him just because we can. Who cares how good he is. He plays in the right position so that'll do me. I'm guessing you've actually never heard of the guy until he appeared in the topic title? Who do you think we could attract that would be better suited then? I've heard of him, don't worry. David Bentley. Bentley's a right winger isn't he? He's also recently stated he wants Champions League football.
  2. I absolutely loathe what they represent. A pack of medieval grunts riding their f.... luck every time they get the opportunity. It's not Arsenal that loses, it's the whole f.... philosophy of football and sports in general. This is a business on a football pitch, sure it's "good" business but f... it if you lose your soul on the way. What are you talking about you bitter bitter person??? Have you even heard yourself?? what a slava!!! Any hatred of Liverpool comes down to 1 thing, pure and utter jealousy, and as for anyone slagging of the Liverpool fans, when was the last time Newcastle fans created such an atmosphere, and supported there time for 90 minutes like the Liverpool fans did? My remarks there are definitely bitter, but that's pretty obvious with all the "f...." flying around. Your comment about jealousy is way off target actually. My "bitterness" was (or rather still is) directed solely to those 11 players on the field and the pack of people that put those same players on the field, a.k.a. the staff. What the Liverpool players have promoted in this last couple of years is the kind of football that's just too hard for me to digest, i can't think of any other term here. It's not pretty, as to opposed Arsenal philosophy which i find admirable and inspiring, and above all else "pretty" to watch to a neutral spectator. I'm not a fan of Arsenal, Liverpool, or Newcastle for that matter, I just find that both Wenger and Keegan football philosophy is "the" right philosophy when approaching football, and that's what i meant when i said Liverpool has no soul. The football they play is stripped of it. Defensive, unattractive, utterly physical football is something I (or any neutral spectator i imagine) don't want to look when i watch the "European greats". Let's put it this way, for me in last nights game, the "bad guys" won. Regarding fans, they come in all shapes and sizes, everyone should treat their club and themselves as the best, whilst respecting the other team and it's fans in the process. Apart from Torres, now that lad is worth watching. Lad? I don't think he's human. He's a fecking machine!
  3. He's been told to wear it for 3 years. I guess the damage was so bad that his skull has "thinned" in that area (I knew the technical term for that before) and will take that amount of time to rebuild fully. Meh, I only wanted to know why you thought he was a wanker
  4. He's not really as left sided as those two. I'd struggle to see where he'd actually play in this current formation, as we don't really have a player like him at the club. More of a replacement for what Emre should have been.
  5. Thats the funniest thing I've ever read. Why so? He wears the headguard because he's been told that any future injury to his skull could result in fracture and brain damage. The headguard gives him that protection, as well as extra confidence. You find it funny that doctors have advised that he protects himself? EDIT: Am I being whooshed here?

  7. Plastic fans??? In what way?

Sorry, but that's utter bollocks. I'm jealous of Man United, and I don't hate them. Your post (I'm assuming you're a Liverpool fan) shows one of the many reasons Newcastle fans hate Liverpool. So far up your own backsides you don't know what's really going on.

  10. Hmm, tiny bit harsh calling him a wanker for not wanting to suffer brain damage.
  11. Best case scenario is that we beat Chelsea, but Man United lose their other games so don't win it anyway.
  12. Sitting in Scunthorpe as I am, I can tell you that most Hull fans think they'll survive if they go up.

    Edgar or Taylor?

He made his debut about 3 months before the end of a season, and played quite a few games. The season straight after that he was a regular starter. I have no idea what time period you're actually talking about. He was playing right back FFS. Hardly a convincing start to his career. My point is that he wasn't anywhere near the player he is now and why's that? Experiance, whilst playing in a good side. He's been playing right back this season too (FFS) Alex has just made the point I wanted to about how many games Taylor has played.
  14. So we should just pay his wages every week whilst he sits in the treatment room?

  16. That's not funny though. Even after you make your list, I'd still rather play Taylor than Ramage. Says more about Ramage than it does Taylor though.
  17. Hull have the massive problem that their best player won't be with them next season. However, they'd have a massive fan base, and plenty of investment. If they really wanted to succeed in the Premiership, I think they'd give it a much better go than Derby did this season.
  18. Sam's record at Bolton in the last 6 months before he left was something like 2 wins in 20 games. He left just at the right time. Sounds like he went 20 games late. That's a fair point too.
  19. Who said Ramage is better than Taylor like? Oh, so you wouldn't prefer to play the better player. That makes MUCH more sense than how I originally interpreted it. A lot of people preferred that Bowyer, Dyer, Woodgate and Barton (to name a few) never played for the club again irrespective of ability. Maybe you should be clear about why you think Ramage should be in the team instead of Taylor then. I'm all ears.... Because I hate Taylor, and Ramage should be next in line ahead of Diatta or Edgar. Making this hard aren't you Why do you hate Taylor?

  21. On current form, Hull should win that league. I've seen all of them play first hand this season, and West Brom are by far the best team in that top 6. Watford are very good at what they do (kick the ball long, kick any player in sight) so I'd love for them to miss out.
