  1. A certain Chilavert, his was intentional though. Check youtube to see it.
  2. Adebayor is one of the main reasons why Arsenal are not going to win anything this year, and may not next year, his finishing is appalling. For every two decent touches he has, his third usually screws up a move. He isn't even a frustrating player, as he doesn't show enough quality often enough to be considered a frustrating player. He is going to have to improve a hell of a lot if he wants to be first team regular there, as at the moment he is a weak link.
  3. Well Owen has never scored 20 league goals in a season before, an interesting point given he offers very little apart from his goalscoring abilities.
  4. Chopras' success in the championship, just shows how wide the gap is in quality between the Premiership and the lower leagues.
  5. I think it was more down to the amount of £££'s we offered him.
  6. As it has been pointed out, we have had this problem before with Robert, who generally recieved 95% of his passes from 2 players, Bernard and Speed. It does come from the problem of having two right footed players in the middle and a player in Parker who doesn't have the greatest eye for a pass, Dyer was also the same when he played there. Players who lack vision shouldn't be playing in attacking central midfield positions.
  7. He has finally stopped shooting straight at the goalkeeper, which was the main problem. All it was for him was a psychological thing, rather than being down to actual inability.

    El Clásico

El Overhypico more like. Barca 1-0
  9. I'm concerned about Carroll's pace and mobility. Even though he may be good on the ball he is going to struggle to be able to cope with the intensity of the Premiership.
  10. Rangers managed to get a 1-1 draw.
  11. Going slightly back in history here, but the form of the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal in Europe in the late 90's and early 00's was the main reason why were able to qualify for the champs league in 2002. If they hadn't won their games, England wouldn't have had 4 places.
  12. No, he isn't one of those problem players who are worth the challenge because they have the raw ability. He simply isn't good enough.
  13. Like I have said before, Fabregas' all action style tends to hide the technical weaknesses in his game. His tackling and shooting in particular are average at best.
  14. Fabregas, good but not nowhere near as great as people make him out to be.

Brian Pinas! How can anyone forget our Pinas?
  16. Anyone see the reporter stick a microphone in Ramos face while he was lying unconscious on the stretcher?
  17. Facing a date in court in November on assault charges.
  18. Shame it's taken him until he is 31 to do so.
  19. The chavs behind the goal were not happy with his reaction, apart from one kid who burst out laughing.
  20. I wouldn't say one individual stands out, a few have had good seasons, such as Milner, Butt, Martins and Taylor but nobody has had a really good season as of yet.
  21. Since we lost against Partizan 39 games ago in Europe, our record has been really good, all be it against very ordinary opposition for the large part. P W D L 39 28 7 4 Hence the very high coefficient ranking.
  22. Roughly 90% of England's population is white, so going by Garth Crook's theory that should mean that there should be no less than 19 players in the England squad that are white, anything else and it's a racist disagrace, right?
  23. Current form? He has had 2 good games.
  24. Blah, got to laugh at the stuff at the bottom about Roeder being our second most successful manager. It seems people are going slightly overboard in trying to convince the doubters about Roeder.
