I certainly wouldn't call Given good tonight. I'm one of his biggest fans, and he was almost at fault for two goals tonight. It was his worst performance for a long time.

Taking Milner off for Sibierski was kind of counter producitve, given that Milner is the only midfielder in our team who can cross a ball. Great move that.

I can't see why there is all the hype around him to be honest, he has the potential to be a decent striker but he is way to inconsistent and big headed to actually fulfill that potential at the moment. He hasn't done anything this season, 1 goal all season I think. I certainly wouldn't be spending any money on him in January, and I would only bring him in on a free transfer when his contract is up.

It just got better though, a few days later we beat Leeds 4-3 at Elland Road after being 3-1 down. Best feeling as a toon fan i've ever had after that game.

Well, they had a decent enough result today. I'm not that confident with our fixture list over the next few weeks. Going into the new year in the top half of the table would be something of an achievement.
