  1. Do it, I'll be the first to join. somebody just throw a shoe at the bitch
  2. So that's obviously why Keegan by the end couldn't stand his guts? You know that for a fact do you? Louise Taylor told us or summat Once again your maturity holds no bounds. My responses are as good as the posts I've replied to Once again, showing real maturity in your posts. My alter ego apologizes for the low standard of debate, but to tell the truth, I've given my serious opinion on this matter before countless times, and I may have been a little "immature" purely out of boredom. Still doesn't mean I'd have Keegan back
  3. No. Come on, the guy reckons Guthrie is the future of our midfield. He's prone to exaggeration. Am I really the only one that sees something different in him? His technique is excellent, his vision and range of passing is impressive, and he works hard and reads the game well! Super finish today as well, and can take a decent set-piece. I really see a lot more potential in him than I saw in some of the recent incumbents like Parker and Jenas
  4. No. Just a few hairy moments by the high standards he had set this season. Must say though, he recovered very well and cruised in the 2nd half. No doubt about his supreme quality when compared to any of the defenders we have had in recent memory. Good to see that Bassong looks like a quality footballer too, and not just a tackling defender
  5. One more thing: The traveling support!!! Absolutely magnificent. Thanks and well done boys and girls
  6. havent read the thread or reaction yet, but for my money Jose Enrique was the best player on the park by a country mile. Guthrie had a forgettable first half but a storming second. He really is the future of NUFC in midfield. Coloccini had his worst game in our colours, and Bassong keeps growing in stature. Beye back to his best in this one. Needs to attack more though. Owen's movement was superb throughout and his finish was sumptuous. Hard-working yet lucky first half, but the team played nearly our best football this season in the 2nd. Only Villa 2nd half, and Stoke first half were better, but considering it was away from home, it was probably our most important performance of the season. Good to see Kinnear has learnt one or two things by leaving Taylor out of the side, and not bringing on Viduka for Martins on 50 minutes. Get the fuck in. Bring on the sour spuds
  7. By far the biggest name ever in world football to be associated with Newcastle United. This really is hard to look at and think about
  8. how can you dislike somebody you've never met ? The comment is because he is supposedly close to my age. I don't know anybody my age that supported the club when they were younger, who wouldn't see this as terrace banter. Thats all it is. I don't want to turn this into another ruined thread but I hope you slate ozzie when he jumps in making quite ridiculous comments like he did in the thread which is now locked. I agree that it is terrace banter, and I'm all for it myself. Problem is though that these days this type of banter feeds those who are actually racist. Agree with you though about the PC brigade going OTT edit: the obvious disadvantage is that the media scrutiny of such things will actually harm the club, which I think Ozzie is on about
  9. I was abroad at the time. Had no access to the game on radio, forum, or tv, and was chatting to my brother on msn and he was giving me updates. I remember him saying, looks like that's it. stoppage time now. A few ticks later and I've never been happier to see him type something to this effect: GOGLALALAOISSLSLAOAZZZGOALAZFKNABELLAMGOALSLXZLZZZZOQK!!!!!!!!!!!! I looked a right prat in front of my computer screen but it was a moment i'll never forget. Thank you Bellars, Thank you Sir Bob
  10. Agreed there. In all fairness, we do have the 3rd largest club stadium capacity in the country, and we can easily fill it. I don't think it takes Einstein to realize that we are a big club. I'm pretty sure he and other NUFC snipers know that already. The fans? yes a significant amount are fickle and have their expectations too high, but the main body of support is a grateful and knowledgeable one.
  11. Temuri on tv now. disappointed but determined to get something from the game in Greece and make the supporters proud
  12. agreed. bottlers of the highest order
  13. GET THE FUCK INNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!! GET. THE FFFFFFFFUCK. in
  14. sure thing. just leave the back door open. i'll find my way in
  15. not enough at the moment to separate the sides. Anorthosis usually do well in the 2nd half so I'm hoping home advantage will eventually bring them out on top. the island will go mad if they win. shame I wouldn't be able to join in the piss up if they do.
  16. The future Marcel Dessailly
  17. The only problem with getting the ball on to the head of Shola is that we rarely win the second ball due to the unpredictability of the 360' that the ball can bounce off at. I hear ya.....but that's what we have Mickey Owen for
