He doesn't look that poor to me. The ball sticks at his feet, he tried to run onto Carroll's flick ons a couple of times despite it clearly not being his game and he got into goal scoring positions on at least three occasions. If that's him playing shit then I don't really take this type of criticism seriously. Fair enough. If you think he's doing a decent job for us up front then that's your opinion and you're fully entitled to it. I think he looks dreadful but there you go. Time will tell.

Can see him looking at moving on if he doesn't get to go to the World Cup this summer. An English striker capable of scoring 20+ in a season will always attract attention from the big clubs. Even more so when the English quota thing starts soon. He won't be there much longer.

1-1. Could do with a win really to keep things rolling on but not at all sure we'll get it. Need to be a bit more positive away from hope and drop the players who clearly aren't up to it - Best. I realise Hughton has probably got to show a bit of faith in him seeing as he bought him but he doesn't look like scoring. Play Ranger instead.

Should not be first choice next year. Decent at this level but he'll struggle next year. Can't afford to give that much time and space for wingers to run at him, check inside and get a shot off without him getting within 3 yards of him. Completely his fault for the goal.

Looks like a really really poor player. Forget settling in at a new club, he's shown absolutely nothing to suggest he can cut at this level, let alone the one above. I know he's just signed and he's finding his feet, new systems/tactics (stop laughing), different training, blah blah blah. The rules of the game haven't changed, he's been signed to score goals and he currently looks a million miles from doing so. I'd peddle him to whoever is daft enough to sign the useless twat.

Depends entirely on how much we spend and who we bring in this summer. Some days I watch us struggle and think we'd come straight back down....on other days I think we could do what Birmingham have done this season. If we buy 4 really good players and keep the majority of the current squad fit for the majority of the season I think we could finish about 12th. If we don't bring those quality players in and/or pick up a lot of injuries then we'll probably go down. I'd like to think we could shift 35,000 - 40,000 season tickets for next season which should boost the coffers to spend a bit. We all know who calls that shot though.

F**k me, just seen the goals fro Weds night. If we can play with that confidence every game we'll be ok. Carry that into next season will give us a good start. Some quality football in those short highlights. Agree with the sentiment but it's got to be remembered how much time and space they gave us to knock it about and create chances. We're kidding ourselves if we think we'll see opposition as poor as that next year. We might not see a team as poor as that for decades.

And forfeit millions and millions of pounds in the process.. I know it's only a pipedream btw.

Revert back to calling it the European Cup and only invite 2 clubs (max) from the league champions from each european league. Make it a straight knockout competition with no seedings and no country protection. If that means Man U draw Real in the first round then so be it.

Absolutely nailed on to go up now. And to be honest I'm not that arsed if we actually go on and win the league or not. Automatic promotion at the first attempt was the aim at the start of the season and we've virtually got that wrapped up with 10 games to go. The title would be nice but it's job done as far as I'm concerned. Well done lads.

Won't get an easier league game than that for the next 50 years - seriously. The 2 teams looked at least 2 divisions apart, which is exactly what we will be in a few weeks time. I'm all for smaller teams making things difficult but this lot were poor. Like really poor.
