I've stood in the Holte End with colours on,and celebrated goals in 93 and 94...and didnt get hoofed out either. And WHL in 93 when Pedro scored his last minute winner!! No offence intended but there probably wasn't enough stewards around to throw you out tbh.

Got to be said that brummie's always been sound as a pound since he started posting on here. Top man.

Lovely. Think you might need a lie down tbh.

They've got absolutely nothing to be scared of now that Johnson's gone. It'll be a bit frantic but we should put 3 past this lot.

5 years ago it wasn't unthinkable. Dekka said it was unthinkable last about this time last year. Aye, but he's a proven liar though isn't he?
-
I take your point but 5 years ago it would have been unthinkable to see a Premier League team, with all of the income that brings, on the verge of being wiped from the face of the sport because of the financial state they'd got themselves into.

A poor man's Shola.

Away from home I can understand him being a bit more cautious but there's no excuse at home or when the opportunity presents itself (Leicester (A)) to have a go at a team away. I'd still like him pick an attacking team and have a real go at blasting Donny, Peterborough and Plymouth out of the water.

Agreed with all excvept atmosphere, thought it was utterly piss poor which is a shame considering we raped them. and where were you sat? Level 7. Not just saying it to get a bite or owt because the general Level 7 vs the rest of the ground bollocks irritates me. I thought the atmosphere in level 7 was decent but didn't hear the rest of the ground until a loud burst near the end. I can hardly hear Level 7 from in my seat either. Accoustics in the ground are shite tbf. Aye that must be what it is.

Football's a simple game. He picks an attacking, balanced side and tells them to go for it. The result is that we are battering teams now, especially at home. 18 goals in the last 4 home games is fantastic. Credit where it's due.

Winning by this many is almost like getting 4 points for the win.

R. Taylor Guthrie Jonas Nolan It's only fucking Barnsley.
-
Scholes. By quite a distance tbh. Could just about do it all and did it so fucking well. His legs have gone now but he was consistently incredible for 10 years (1996-2006ish)

Is Mike Ashley steering Newcastle United in the right direction?

Interesting stuff. -
The longer we're back in the division the better it will be for us. We've lost a fortune this season and that will take time to get over. We'll not manage that in 1 season, it might take a couple. More like ten years if Ashley uses any profits we make to start paying off his loans. Speculation. If we repay £15m a season it would take ten years to pay off the £150m he’s lent the club. How much profit do you think we’re going to be making? Got no idea. Neither have you tbh. At least I'll admit it...

Stay up next year. Mid-table the season after then break the top 10 the season after that. That's where the coin starts to roll in.

Quietly pleased things have worked out the way they have. I'm not gloating but he doesn't deserve to play for England or Man Utd.

He’s certainly very good at lining his own pockets. How much do you anticipate he's lined them with from the football club overall? Well to date it looks like he’s made a pigs ear of it, but that’s not to say he won’t fill his boots in the long run. The question is how is he is going to try and make a big fat profit out of NUFC after SJH made a mug of him. He could try and build a relevantly successful club PL that regularly competes in Europe and then sell up. Or he could just try and screw us over. And how would that work? If he's going to 'make a big fat profit out of NUFC' how is trying to screw us over going to help him achieve it? He could be planning on hanging around the PL on a CCC budget for a few years and pocketing the extra TV money. Three or four years impersonating Bolton would be enough to claw back the money he has lent the club, anything after that would be pure profit. It’d be gamble, but I don’t that seeing putting him off. People can be as happy clappy about being top of this pitifully poor league as they want. Enjoy it; the real fallout of the last two years has yet to show its teeth. So hanging around in the PL for a few years is him screwing us over? Wouldn't it be embezzlement if he pockets the extra TV money? anything after that would be pure profit ?...................wouldn't he first have to make back the money he has spent on buying us and the major loan (close on 200million i think) before getting ingto "pure" profit ? The deeds to the club are an asset is that asset worth 200million ? That depends on the market value at the time of sale, but the chances of the club ever being worth £200m are remote. Which begs the question, how is Ashley going to get his money back? Maybe it's got to the stage where he's just trying to minimise his losses rather than make some money? Just a thought.

Got a feeling we'll just brush them aside - especially if we get one early on. 4-1
