Donny (H) was the turning point.

Washington crossing the Delaware? You should teach History, man.

Washington crossing the Delaware?

We won't win both, we just won't. Not with the likes of Nolan in the team - he can't play two games in two days. Peterborough are the worst team in the league. Their home record is W6 D5 L9. Sheff U are dreadful away from home - W4 D5 L11. I can't see why we can't pick 2 teams to win each game. Start well and get 2 or 3 up early against Peterborough and coast through the rest of the game. Pick mostly the same players against Sheffield (who've also played a blood and thunder Yorkshire derby on Saturday) and we should beat them too.

Which has pretty much blown over. It'll be brought up again obviously but the clamour for sackings and police involvement has, by and large, gone. The club and manager got it absolutely spot on by not giving in to the press and commenting on it. They've moved on to something else.

Ironically, Derby away being the one match where he picked a starting XI away from home that 95% of the fans would have went with. Sorry, I meant the result at Derby. I backed him to keep the same side that had just twatted Cardiff. Just worked out to be our only loss since October. Sods law.

I'll be honest and say that Milner never looked like a £12m player in his time here and I was astonished when O'Neill coughed up for him. He'd go for £15m+ now easily and is getting better every season.

Poor scousers.

He's made mistakes this season - quite a few of them actually - but at least he appears to be learning from them. I've got no problem with anyone dropping a bollock as long as they don't drop the same one again. Bar Derby away he's got the team more or less spot on. He fucked up badly at Leicester but he's done well this season on the whole. If he continues to improve then we might be ok. We'll see.

C'mon Benfica, early goal please.

Bit rich of West Ham to start complaining about rules and regulations being broken when they only stayed in the PL because an ineligible player kept them up a few years back. And they fucking got away with it. Pricks.

who the fuck we gonna lose 5 games to in this shit? We're going to slip up from time to time. I reckon 100 points is achievable this season. I've said all along we should piss this league and I've seen nothing that should frighten us. 5 more wins and 2 draws from our last 7 games gives us the nice, round 100.

I'd go along with that. I'd take Walcott to the WC because of his pace off the bench. I know he's had a poor season but he can unsettle teams and swing the momentum when brought on and used correctly. I'm being won over by Walcott. Barring injuries, I'm thinking of Rooney, Defoe, Bent, Crouch and Walcott (who can play both up top and wide). I couldn't justify picking Walcott and Agbonlahor in the squad unless there were a few injuries in the squad but Walcott has to go imo. Rooney, Defoe, Crouch, Bent, Walcott plus another 6 midfielders. You've both forgotten Heskey. I know he's a bit shit but he's also been integral to the best football I've ever seen England play. Even if you don't want him starting surely it's madness not to even take him so we have that formation / system as a plan B. Wasn't a prediction as to who will go, more who I would take tbh. Don't think Heskey has done enough for a while now to justify taking, but there you go.

If I went to the game yesterday, I could make the same joke, in reverse. What do you mean, joke?

Barca are playing some of the best football I've seen since Monday.

Complete annihilation. Like total and utter destruction of their pathetic football team on the park followed by the obliteration their shitty village when we hear Forest have lost. That would be nice.
-
They're a decent team to be fair and they pressed us and closed us down more than any other side I've seen up here this season. Always thought we'd score late on as they couldn't keep doing that all game and sure enough they tired. We're all but up and that is all that counts for now. Wonder if we can get 100 points?

Think that will be the starting line-up. Good stuff. -
the question midds is, will they still have bent + jones when they meet us- i have my doubts. Who knows? I can see Bent getting mightily pissed off soon though - especially if he doesn't go to the World Cup this summer. He's got 20 this season and Bruce sticks him out on the right to stem the tide when they're desperate for a goal to get a foothold in the game. That's got to play on his mind if he's got his feet up, watching Heskey or Crouch try to win the WC. Jones is a lazy arsehole from what I can gather.

They've already got enough points this season. I also think they would also turn us over if we were to play them, say, next weekend.
