Liquid football from Blackburn. Fantastic goal.
-
Looks the business. Already repaid a large chunk of his loan fee with his goal today too.
-
Oh, so it's a nasty one then? Hadn't realised it was that serious.
-
What did he go off with? Arthritis?
-
Got it wrong last week and took some justified stick. Got it right today and should expect some praise. Fantastic result, a job well done.

I've never seen a better striker than Shearer and he was at his absolute best at Blackburn imo. The fact he was tailor-made for the Premier League helps but he would have dominated the scoring charts in any league in Europe. The bloke had it all and I'm lucky to have seen him in his pomp. He'll still be talked about in 50 years time as a top, top striker. Legend. The fact he's born and bred Newcastle is just the icing on the cake.

Still can't see anything other than a thumping home win tbh.
-
Wish someone would take a shovel to his head.

Manager in successful attacking substitutions shocker.
-
Only after he's finished telling the manager which substitutions to make Natch.
-
The captain should be the only person who is allowed to even talk to the ref or linesmen. Would love that.

It's your round m'lord, it's your round.... Like that one.

That might change if we are in the bottom 3 by christmas. If we're in the bottom 3 by Xmas Hughton won't get the chance to spend a penny. So your saying he'll be off if that happens? I'm saying I think Ashley will bin him if we're in the shit. Not saying I agree with it but it's what I think will happen.

Bang on. Our first 'banker win' and we throw it away.
-
4-0 Everton couldn't wish for a better fixture tbh.
-
Came on with about 73 on the clock I think.
-
Still a big, fat 'yes' from me. I'd like us to aim higher but I'd take 17th.
-
Needs to be involved as much as possible and should play in the hole. Fully expect Gutierrez to make way for him as he'll be much easier to drop than Nolan though. We'll see.
-
That's a direct consequence of playing him up front on his own. We shouldn't be doing that against the poorer sides in the division, especially at home. Exactly. There's a time to be conservative and there's times when we've got to go for it. He (and his fans) have got to put up with the criticisms when it goes tits up and he fucked it up today. Doesn't mean he'll be a shit manager and he's going to fuck it up every week but he got it wrong today and needs to learn from it. Last time he showed such a lack of spine was when he refused to change things at Leicester in January.

Nothing wrong with keeping the same XI to star the game, most of us would have done the same. His substitutions today though.....fuck me. Needs to open his eyes or grow a backbone.
-
Hardly. Bafra has to come on and I don't mean the 77th minute. Agree totally but it's Hugton's decision to make. Has he got the minerals to drag Nolan or Smith off?
-
Be interesting to see how long Hughton leaves it before changing it. Losing at home in a match we're expecting to win with new signings waiting on the bench....10 mins? Big decisions for him to make.

Andy according to the Mod log. Probably his stupid fat fingers again.
