    Dogawful Officiating

Using it for second yellows will only embarrass refs even more. The number of times you see fouls made by booked players go unpunished with a second yellow because the ref is scared to send him off. The bar is raised for different players at different times in the game, varring it will only highlight the inconsistencies even more
  2. Looks like it can be used on any match tbh. Expires in a week
  3. Came in to say the same thing, it's thick defending and very aware play from the player who's seen the situation and nipped in first. It's extremely disproportionate to award a pen but it's still a (soft as fuck) foul in the box
  4. Putting £100 on over 6.5 goals now

  6. Wasn't too long ago that we just accepted that we were going to lose these games, barely putting up a fight in the process. Now we're winning them on a regular basis and it's amazing. The fact we're not freaking out about swatting Chelsea away like an irritating gnat speaks volumes, we're now better than them, can beat them with so many injuries and we'll continue to get better and better and better
  7. Promised myself a few months ago that I'm just going to try and enjoy this season and not worry too much about league position or comparisons. My comparisons this season are between the utterly listless, abject and instantly forgettable Ashley seasons compared to the last 2 years. Ashley's years of shite and nothingness compared to a big game every week. Zero ambitions other than staying up as opposed to punching our weight at the top. Throwing the cups as opposed to making Finals and taking the CL seriously. You get the picture I only ever wanted my club to try and be the best it possibly could be and I've now got that, I've already won, I've got and had that for the last 25 months now. I'm just enjoying each game, enjoying the matches, enjoying the goals, the ambition, the organisation, the team spirit, the constant supply of huge games and the prospect of actually competing and beating some of the best teams on the continent. We've already beaten Villa, Man City, Man Utd, PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea and it's only November. We're 100% on the right path and in fantastic hands and I'm not going to let a few injuries kill my buzz. It's only going to get better too Yes, I've had a few btw
  8. Haven't beaten a single team in the top half so far. They've still got a lot of difficult fixtures to play yet. They're winging it but they're beating the shite on a consistent basis tbf

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

    Absolutely devs he's not Argentinian
  10. Bit surprised at how poor Everton have been this afternoon, thought it would be a bit of a bearpit for Man U this afternoon. Fans kicking off and full of hell, loud and intimidating atmos etc. That Garnacho goal seemed to pop that bubble immediately and the crowd have never been in it since
  11. Worked that really well tbh. Key moment in the game was Man U going in 1-0 up when they could easily have been a goal or 2 down but for dreadful finishing. Irritating but still looking forward to the game next Saturday
  12. Martial knows exactly what he's doing but it's a pen like. Just continues running into the challenge, daft from Young
  13. Carving them open time after time aftr time. Just can't convert a fucking thing, the useless wankers
  14. Got them on the ropes here, need to knock one in before HT though
  15. That's Goal of the season tbh
  16. A draw in the villa game and an exceptionally violent home win for Everton please. The more pressure that bald cunt is under this week the better, I want them fucking shitting themselves next weekend

    Joe Willock

Yeah, that's fair enough too There were always going to be bumps in the road and times when Howe would need to tweak things and adapt depending on what was happening at the time. Got no idea how many injuries could have been prevented or mitigated though, maybe it's the nature of the training? Is it poor medical advice/treatment? Is it pushing players out who aren't even 70% because there's no other options? Could be any or all of the above but I'm sure this situation is being looked at and lessons need to be learned for the future as you say

They do, yeah but it's just the domino effect of getting them all at the same time too. Injuries happen to all teams but we've been hit with lots all at the same time. This is compounded because we're playing twice a week and can't rotate because of the lack of fit bodies. So the players who do get selected are tired and more likely to get injured which leads to the initial problem just getting bigger and bigger. It's really frustrating but we just need to get through the next 3 months and look to build the squad over the next few years. In 2026 an injury crisis like this won't be as bad as it is now - doesn't help us right now obviously like. Just batten down the hatches and make the best of it.
  19. Universitario kit is pure taste. I mean, I love ours but that's also delightful
  20. I think it's the fact he deliberately neglected one of the best performing squads in the League so quickly and transformed it into an utter mess that couldn't function that really irritates me the most. The squad he inherited has organisation, knowhow and had started to click offensively once Almiron had bedded in, it was a top 8 (performing) squad. Within 9 months they're a shambles and all of the positives had been banished or disappeared under his gormless 'leadership'. He was such a fucking moron that it almost seems deliberate in hindsight, even a bad manager recognises the qualities and tries to just keep it going, this cunt wrecked it from the off. He's so relentlessly shit, disingenuous, cowardly and arrogant about his time here I don't ever want to read from the horrible fat cunt ever again, can't wait to take a massive hot shit on his fucking grave tbph
  21. Aye the hypocrisy is ridiculous but they've used the vote the way they see fit and it's now out in the open for all to see. Completely torn between deliberately ignoring the option that's still available to make them look like the gaggle of paranoid reactionary cunts they are and drafting in Neves, Kante, Mahrez, Laporte and Benzema on about 10% of their wages purely to see the fume
  22. Got a feeling this will be like the 5 subs rule. They'll just continue to put it up for a vote until it eventually passes and then that'll be that. They'll wait until Sheff U go down and try again and it'll (probably rightly) pass. It's a rule that could benefit us in the short term but it's not great for the game in general just moving players around a group of owned clubs on a whim, Watford/Udinese have taken the piss recently - not broken any rules but it's not 'right' imo
  23. They absolutely took the piss with the inflated covid losses but still feel they're going to be the canary down the FFP mine. The whole thing is horseshit. Setting up regulations to ensure dubious owners don't spend money they don't have it all well and good and protects clubs. Setting up regulations to ensure owners are forbidden to spend money they absolutely do have so a small number of clubs at the top of the league can't be challenged is another thing entirely. There has to be a legal challenge to the whole thing eventually/soon, surely? It's 100% restrictive. And that's before you even get into the whole FMV and related party transactions stuff too. Needs to be dragged through the courts so the likes of ourselves and Villa can land a few punches
