Utter pigshit that, got to be said. Never ever looked like threatening them whilst simultaneously looking shakey at the back. Sloppy, disinterested, lackadaisical, unprofessional and a piece of piss to play against. Credit to Brighton they looked sharp but we stood off them and couldn't get near them. No energy, no zip and look leggy as fuck after only 4 games. First time they've genuinely let Howe and the fans down, that was pathetic

Isak needs the odd runner from CM too to give him some options to lay it off. We outnumber them in there so expecting Tonali to help link things together a bit more

Again, the focus will be on who got robbed by VAR tonight and tomorrow. Nothing will be made of the teams that are consistently benefitting from these massively and obviously wrong calls

6 pointer very early doors in the season. Loser goes down etc

I'd suggest they need to grow some eyes in the backs of their heads too. Amsterdam, Marseille and Athens could be a bit spicy for any English fans tbh -
It's fine, if he's any good Chelsea will buy him in January

Be fascinated to see how all 3 deal with our press and how much pressure we apply, especially Psg. Definitely think we'll catch them on the hop, they're used to playing teams that drop and give them space and possession in league games but how many times do they have to deal with the press we have. No reason why we can't get 7 points from the 3 home games and best at least one of them away too. Nothing to be scared about and can't wait for the first game now, it'll be electric -
All these players leaving? Tell you what mind - PEWWER!

Just imagine needing a point away to Dortmund in November to qualify man -

And I get that and there's logic to what you're saying, you're not wrong I just think that if you are good enough to qualify then the reward should be huge games and big occasions rather than squeaking through and surviving for as long as possible. It's just 2 sides of the same coin -

Can't relate to anyone having fears or being miserable about the draw like. I get the fact it's tough but it's the elite club competition on the planet, it's not supposed to be easy. It's 6 fixtures that you'll remember and cherish for years to come too, what's the point of qualifying if you're going to be too scared to enjoy it, fuck it, let's just see what happens -

Would love to be a fly on the wall when the Qatari delegates from PSG meet the Saudis too -

Loving the draw tbh. Yeah, we could have had Feyenoord and Braga or whatever but it would have been a bit of an anti-climax having grafted for 8 months to get the likes of those in our group. 6 genuinely huge games that will test us each week and can't fail to raise the profile of the club and give each player involved some experiences that justify their choice to join the club. I bet the players and Howe are fucking buzzing and rightly so, can't wait to get stuck into them -

Ideal scenario for qualifying imo: 6 points from the Pot 3 team - absolute must 4 points from the Pot 2 team - these are the key games 1/3 points from the Pot 1 team - bonus points really but can't afford to lose home and away That gives us 11 or 13 points and enough to qualify 2nd almost every time I'm assuming? -
Luck of the draw, fuck it. Much rather be at home than down there. I know they take it seriously but we must have a decent chance of knocking them out and automatically becoming one of the favourites from the next round. Maybe

I'll be absolutely fucked if there's anything remotely resembling a race to sign that bloke. Utter nonsense

Just popped round to see my dad, he's 87 now which means he's pretty much got a saying for all eventualities. First thing he says - "ah wey, you can't put the shit back in the cow. It's done now". Kinda summed it up really. It's done and over with, yes it stung like fuck and still does but we all need to move on and focus on Brighton. It was 1 game and 3 points, not underestimating how bitter it was but looking back an moping is pointless. Howe and the players need to think of it as a lesson learned rather than a painful loss. Next time we find ourselves in that type of position we need to learn from our mistakes yesterday see it through, I'm confident that none of us on here will feel as bad as the players and Howe do right now but there's 35 games to go, 2 domestic cups and the Champions League to look forward to. Shrug it off, learn from it and look forward to the rest of the season. Chin up gentlemen

Totally threw that away today, a draw would have been disappointing but to lose it from being a goal up and a man up with 72 minutes on the clock is borderline disgraceful tbph. They were gifted 2 chances and finished them both clinically, can't complain about them, 2 mistakes, 2 chances, 2 goals, bang bang. Going to be hard for Howe to pick them up after that, showed a complete lack of control and couldn't finish them off and got punished. No point twisting about this or that, that last 20 minutes was genuine 'head's gone' stuff and you can tell we're not used to being in that position. I'm down as fuck about it because it's against those cunts and it'll give encouragement to others to just hang in as they will know/suspect we'll make a couple of daft mistakes and gift chances. Big, big negative result today and we only have ourselves to blame unfortunately

And the more times he mentions it the further into absolute fact it becomes. He's worse than Himmler -
All depends on al the elements in the equation as far as Lascelles is concerned
