Can't see any reason for him to leave Sevilla. They're one of the best clubs in Spain, have just retained the UEFA Cup and will be playing Champions League football next season. His game is suited for Spanish football and he's scoring goals hand over fist. He's even got the weather and the lifestyle! Can you really see him giving all that up to come to Newcastle?

Materazzi's a big, horrible, nasty, cynical, rough twat of a player. I'd have him here in a heartbeat.

Website offering xylophone lessons apparently...

Do you really think anyone on this or any other forum gives a shit what you 'think' any more? The joke's passed mate. you having a hissy fit won't change the facts tbh You're right, nobody gave a shit before I said that. you seem to give a hell of a shit tbh, when you stop debating the facts and start getting personal I reckin I was right, your lass has barred your access for tonight and you're on here instead of getting the cold shoulder upstairs Only 27 hours since you were let back on the Football forum and you come out with this shit. Fucking hell Vic. wahey knew it would be my fault, could see it coming a mile off Sometimes Vic, you make some excellent points that cut through the bullshit and get straight to the heart of the matter....sometimes you just end up looking like an arsehole.

Every silver lining's got a cloud, eh? Fucking hell, it's ridiculous. Some folk will never, ever be happy. Or even satisfied tbh.

some of us have longer memories and do not see the previous player as the standard to be bettered, especially as there is a different manager and owner Fair enough, but would you agree that Viduka is a vast improvement on Sibierski? the phrase 'vast improvement' does a diservice to Sibierski and completely ignores massive flaws in Viduka you can't even say they are a direct replacement, Sibierski wasn't even a striker So you're saying Sibierski was a better player? Do you think Sibierski was brought in to score goals or create them? Or both?
-
Because some of us want THE RIGHT players, not just "better than the shit we have". So who is the RIGHT player and how much would he cost us?

I wonder if SWP will look back and regret signing for Chelsea one day? A couple of years ago he looked the business. He looked a real threat to the best in the division and always impressed. He created havoc down the right and scored and made goals every week. Now look at him. He still sparks every now and again but he's played so infrequently that he can't get up to speed and he looks a shadow of the player he once was. The lad needs a move desperately to a club where he's guaranteed to start. Personally, I think he's just wasted 2 of the best years of his career. He's at his peak right now and he's spending his time picking the splinters out of his arse.

Genuinely can't see how replacing Sibierski with Viduka could possibly be turned into a negative. I guess there's no pleasing some people though, is there?

I think if Brown Envelope buys City, he'll want to run things himself tbh.

Worth an outside punt imo. Could well fall to bits without the guy who's got them where they are. Certainly wouldn't be surprised if Sammy Lee doesn't last the season. Bolton's signings hardly fill you with hope for them either. Gavin McCann is now a has been and J Lloyd Samuel is a never was been. Also rumblings about Jussi rejecting a new contract and leaving them for Villa or Sunderland. Ben Haim has already gone and I wouldn't be suprised if Anelka spits his dummy out. I'd argue he was a 'never was' personally. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Bolton struggle next season but there's still enough left there for them to go down. Got a cap off Sven anarl iirc. Jesus wept! He did aye! He's always looked like a plodder imo. The midfield equivalent of Aaron Hughes. A 100%er but very limited.

Looking at those odds, i'd say the bookies have got it more or less spot on. Brum & Derby will both struggle and go down. Wigan will go unless they spend a fortune. Fulham, City and Boro will also be in the mix down there too. The mackems will stay up fairly comfortably and will be hard to beat at home.

No-one. It's the Gallowgate. No better place on this universe tbh.

Vic has a point here. He signed an improved contract based on the fact he'd retired from Internationals and thus he'd be available for more Toon matches. He then signs the contracts and decides he wants to continue playing for Peru. I love the little bloke but he pulled a fast one. As I said above, Solano shouldn't have been put in that position in the first place. He fell out with the coach of Peru and didn't need a great deal of help to come to the decision he did iirc...

But Bent doesn't want to go to west ham so Charlton can either cash in or have a unhappy player in the squad. So the Charlton chairman will accept a bid of, for arguments sake, £12m after West Ham have bid £16m + Mullins? He'll look f****** stupid! Got a feeling Bent will stay exactly where he is or he may be 'persuaded' to sign for West Ham. harry kewell leaving leeds for liverpool You know what i mean though? He accepts a £16m+, saying they've matched their valuation, on Wednesday only to see it break down...........then he accepts £12m on Friday for the same player. It makes him look f****** stupid for asking for so much in the first place. West Ham don't come out of it with any credit either tbh. i know what you mean but it doesnt really matter,if the player has a choice of places then he has the power. 100% correct. blueyes.gif The point I was making is that the Charlton chairman has come out and said, not in as many words, "I'll accept £16m+ for Bent. They've matched our valuation." etc 48 hours later, this changes to "we've reluctantly agreed to let Bent talk to Spurs for £12m". He just comes out of it looking like a tool.

William Prunier. Bald, French and dogshit.

Spurs need permission to talk to Bent first. I'd assume they would need to match West Ham's offer if they even want to talk to him. Unless this Magnusson bloke wants to look like a soft shit and offer even more???
