David Moyes is the type of manager we should be aiming for. Sadly we're unable to attract a manager of his calibre to this club I feel. FWIW i dont think jose was a tactical genius in this country but he had more to spend than everyone else,give keeagn the same and we'll not be thinking of relegation next season

their pace is up top....not on their feet,its not like rooney is a bellamy,granted hes quicker thatn viduka but you wouldnt mark pace as an asset (same for tevez)

Honestly, my support over the last 20 years cannot be questioned and that obviously includes through thick and thin. I saw us battle despite being 4-1 down at Derby in 1992 with 8 men. Despite a rotten result, the team played their hearts out. Today was an abject surrender and to clap at the end as if we had something to appreciate was shameful. We have no pace in the front 6. Duff has a bit of pace, but he only runs slightly fast in useless positions, ie when hes running up to a player. rooney and tevez don't have pace but have nouse........thats what kills you.

we used to have a plan where shearer would stand on the angle of the 6yd box for corners....cleared loads,not because he was alan shearer but because its a bloody good plae to have someone.....simple but effective. we had a few corners today and habib beye (one of our tallest and best headers of the ball) was one of the defensive 2 while duff and barton were in the box trying to win headers...does that make sense ? we have to stop slagging off the back 4 for the defending or the forwards for scoring...we were given a lesson today in the ideea that when you have the ball your whole team is attacking and when the oppo has the ball your whole team is defending. also ...see how many times in the first 20mins they played seemingly blind balls down our cahnnels to turn our defending ? why do we never do that ?

today milner had the ball inspace,on a break,owen broke inside his man,a ball to the edge of the 6yd box would have given owen an easy chance....milner cut his man ina and out and lost the chance.....in the 2nd half n'zogbia done exactly the same thing.

very similar to Keegans first stint in charge,yes we stopped up but with some heart stopping moments (brighton won at SJP in probably the worst home performance of the season and i thought we were down).got to hope history repaeats,we scrape survival the kick on.

isn't a full back,isn't a wide midfielder in my opinion. lad with lots of talent and potential suffering from having a huff and still struggling to find a position (which i think will end up being in the middle)
