I agree with a fair bit of that. It wasn't just the fresh faces but those that came in had a mentality that others bought in to. Shelvey, Willock etc didn't raise their game due to a replacement waiting in the wings, they improved because of a change of mentality at the club and much of that was down to the players brought in. Remember back to when Shelvey first arrived, a similar flurry of incoming, good players but the mentality at the club remained........we went down.
