  1. In fairness, I don't think it has much to do with Charnley. He's always appeared onside with Rafa, and he performed admirably last summer. It'll be this Barnes c*** that's asserting Ashley's influence in all this. or agents thinking "drag it out a little, see what else comes up" I don't think so. Can't imagine Rafa being this open and vocal if it was all down to agent games. He's been vocal about not getting what he wanted. He's also been vocal in the larger piece about "Lee". I'm not sure it's the club his frustrated with and this would have been a perfect opportunity to send more coded messages that Ashley's line wasn't quite as it seemed.

  3. Signing for Man City apparently then being loaned to Girona. As if Man city see anything in him at all.
  4. While I get and agree with your overall point there's always going to be anxiety with Ashley as owner, especially as a manager with the pedigree of Rafa's position is being threatened by the owner being a c***; it's going to make people uneasy. They've got history for it with KK, Shearer and Hughton. Far too many media outlets have been saying he's unhappy/frustrated for him not to be unhappy/frustrated. Surely you can understand why people are so uneasy? I understand the anxiety, even feel it myself but it seems more like Rafa is more frustrated with the market than the clubs playing of it and with Ashley coming out in public and still stating that Rafa has control over everything then I'm pretty sure our manager would put that straigh (and walk) if it wasn't so. Guess we'll find out on Septemeber 1st either way. FWIW i think something will give in the market in general as it seems like what is stopping the likes of Hanley leaving here is a similar reason to blocking Gibbs, Perez and others moving on.
  5. and that was one oh htt's shorter efforts.
  6. thats what 3 and a half tv channels did. like the days we were off school and the only thing that was on was crown court ffs. f***ing Farmhouse Kitchen and Take the b****** High Road [emoji23] simpler times Aye, when telly stopped at midnight [emoji23] It would regularly "closedown" during the day aswell. Lunchtime news, Pebble mill, then nowt till Play school or that Welsh thing.
  7. I think it was Stoke up here, how far away he was when Cabaye picked him out, the slide rule pass in behind to run on to (my favourite pass, beats the whipped in cross in mt book) and how he knew the keeper was coming to him, didn't need power, just get it passed the keeper.
  8. Old type short shorts them man but still he's a proper bloke , bet you need a little battery pack to keep em warm.
  9. Must have a small cock, at the very least need some support for the package. Try comando, not in trousers like, but in shorts, you'll never go back!
  10. Not that this is it as I can't exactly claim recollection perfectly every kick from every game like some on here but only the Norwich game at home did we play to his strengths whern he came on.
  11. Played up front on his own a few times in the prem and done well (amazing that movement andfinishing can make up for brute strength) and as much as I don't think that would be ideal for him I think he'll do better in the prem than the champ (performanced wise he already did)
  12. As much as I like him, under Benitez he's never going to be more than a last gasp, throw him on for for last 15 when we are behind, player
  13. While I'm on, and this was recently talked about amongst my mates, the wearing of undergarments under sportswear. From the age of about 11 it was a no no. To this day I'm vestless and camando under any shorts and look down in a manly way on anyone that is soft enough to wear such mollycoddling garments,
  14. almost certainly Wasn't it more to do with revealing slogans written on vests etc? "drink beer, smoke tabs"
  15. I know, I know it was in quotes taken from the Mail aswell. Just thought it needed pointing out.
  16. Did he really start 25 times last season, didn't seem like it.
  17. Santon had an absolute mare as did Krul iirc. Another one of Pardew's masterclasses. The team for that game. Krul Debuchy Williamson S.Taylor Santon Anita Sissoko Gouffran Sa.Ameobi Cisse L. De Jong TBF compare with the team that won when Huntinton scored.
  18. Stopped watching as Besktas stuffed up my bet.
  19. Why is covering your head a booking? Never could work it out because they're joyless turds. Is it not more raising your shirt could reveal un fifa approved advertising or political slogans ?
  20. Do we ? Without checking, my addled brain has us both as run teams as in we both go on runs against each other, though I have to say we've won against them with some horrid line ups. They've won here twice in the last 10 seasons. 8 really isn't it ? I'm thinking since we entered the prem (not as a prem fan boy but we didn't play them much befofre that in my lifetime and what I remember is a 5-2 home defeat and the league cup semi win.... oh and our keeper, Bell ? catching the ball at WHL then falling backwards and dropping it over the line)

  22. ITK Maybe they're sitting with him? Yeah apologies I got this wrong, maybe should have asked before commenting. They've gone up to spend time with him his family, I've asked about what's wrong him Dwight and been told it's a hamstring problem. I'm not claiming to be ITK just passing on what I've been told by a friend who is close to Dwight I'm sure hamstrings don't exist, just footballers throwing a sickie.
