Trippier apologised several times to Elanga for missed opportunities to pass or passing "behind" him or just not getting the pass away early enough. Also times when a slightly quicker ball into his path to mo e on to as opposed to playing to his left when hes out wide. Not to worry, we are still a bit bitty at times as players get to work each other out, I suppose we shouldn't whinge with it because its great we are in so mamy comps it doesnt really give time on the training pitch.

My mam will be distraught, she had a right soft spot for him. Lovely bloke as well, met him when he was a player then in his various other roles. I scored 2 past him when I was 14 and he didn't just let them in. I'd love to see how some of today's keepers would cope without gloves ?
