Doesn't his miracle comeback usually come in the post-February matches. Still got loads of time between this injury until then.

That's our 11 fit first team players out there. Wonder how many keepers we'll have on the bench. 3-1 The Arse.

Wasn't expecting a mad splurging of money Abramovic style. What I was hoping for though as some sort of investment in building a squad for today - it's all well and good trying to build a squad of youngsters to come in in four years or so, but if they are going to start plying thier trade in a team propping up the league or - god forbid - playing in the Football League would it have been worth it. From the comments by Keegan this week this is looking likely to be fifth transfer window in a row where the squad is thinner than when it started - three of them being under the new ownership. If Milner does go, hopefully for the amounts mentioned earlier this summer, then we will also have another transfer window where the transfer dealings will have just about broke even. In January we were fed stories of massive debt repayments, at the start of the summer it was £80 million player wages. It seems from an outsider looking in that Ashley has bought a new plaything without having the idea of how to maintain it. To try and alleviate the problems he has brought in 'big names' to try and create a management team, but has tried to fit them into roles that they have had no pst record of having the aptitude to carry out.

Well done lad.

A good stamping more like. And then shoot his dog. And Asphixiate his goldfish. And impale is hamster on a park fence spike.

Wasn't aware of the 'schedule' of things today - only heard of this at 4:30ish today whatn there was already a sizable thread on this when I came online, but surely asking for a transfer in the first place makes this at least partially some of his fault, which by the sounds of it comes down to nothing but greed.

The PFA are representing him, he's not bleating to them and I doubt Milner is the type of player to get a strop on if he's still here once the window closes. We've already got that sorted. But why go public with this then. Leave it in house and if you get a move or new contract then fine. Instead we have been left with a disgruntled member of staff that needs replacing in five days where the vultures are going to be circling knowing that we have to get rid.
-
Maybe he should then, with the selfish 'I want more money than I signed on for' actions of the past twelve days, as he's selling us (fans, colleagues and the club) right down the river.
-
The PFA are his agents so he hasn't gone "bleating" to them. Who is to say he wanted to leave at the start of the window? If he really was intent on leaving I am sure he would have put the request in ASAP to make sure there was time to make his move, I am sure it would pray on his mind a little he may now be left at a club where the fans know he wanted to leave, hence his request to keep the whole thing quiet in the first place. Thought the PFA (The Professional Footballer's Association) were a union and not an agency the last time I'd heard of them. First time I've ever heard of them acting in this way in any sort of transfer.
-
The main problem that I have with the whole thing is the timing. Hand in a transfer request at the end of the season or before pre-season starts - you don't wait until the season starts. Also, going bleating to the PFA hasn't helped things - now it is a known fact that we have an unhappy member of staff and will get shafted in the transfer market or end up with an unhappy squad member until January, which we will not want.
-
We'll try to get them out on the town with Joey Barton as well - should make some interesting CC footage anyway . Wonder if there are any footballers who are convicted murderers or peados. Try to get a full house and win footballer convict poker.
-
Jermain Pennant - and we'll end up out of pocket.
-
Nah, that sounds like the actions of a professional football outfit. Won't get anywhere near the 9M that's been quoted by the scum sucking media either - once it's known that they want away then any powerbase is gone (Batty / Jenas).
-
So that's a left back, center half, central defender, decent back-up striker and now another right winger we need. Seems do-able. Now all we need is the inevtibale injury crisis and McDermott will finally be able to relive his dream and play for us again.
-
Reports suggest he did it a week ago but we've only announced it today. Five days or twelve days, the scumbag knows that we've had problems getting in players and having cash in the bank isn't as good as having bodies in to fill the places.
-
The selfish little cunt - knows that we're in the shit with regard to squad size and does this with five days left in the transfer window. Well done. You'll be held with the same high esteem as Bellamy and Jenas.

The Magedia Thread - Sunderland suck trollolololol

Haha, they might as well admit that they're just stamping their feet about not knowing. Or perhaps that they keep forgetting that we've actually brought in five players over the summer, one making his competitive debut last night with the other on the bench. They don't seem to have a problem with the other privately owned clubs such as Manure and Liverpool not disclosing fees, i.e. keeping their cards to their chests to not show what they're spending so clubs will up any prospective transfer fees.
