  1. Always go and stay till the end, but I'd be up for this and I think it'd be an easy match to get support for shunning. At 2:30 on Saturday just as we were about to head to the ground one of us said "Fuck it, should we just stay here and watch it in the pub?" and it seemed a very tempting proposition.

He looks like someone you'd see being carted off by Magaluf coppers on a Channel 5 reality show, just about the level of classy gent for Ashley's inner circle.

The Premier League also have financial fair player regulations which have nothing to do with European competition. He specifically refers to the UEFA rules.

WOW guys, we exceed the financial fair play rules which only actually make a difference if you're trying to get into a competition we actively want to avoid! CONGRATULATIONS!

That statement is absolutely appalling. Couldn't possibly make the club sound worse. What an absolute arsehole.
  6. How much booing was there at the end? Genuine question; I'd left before then to get an earlier train. There was a lot of it, from those of us still around. It was a bit odd at the end, the players started walking over to the Strawberry Corner and faced further booing, scowls, shouts and hand gestures pointing them back towards the tunnel. Most of them wandered off as soon as that started, but Santon continued towards the crowd with his tail between his legs and clapped the fans for staying. As he got closer the boos intensified, until people kind of realised he was the only one with the spine to come over and it changed to clapping.

Genuinely seems to be threatened by creative players, the idea they might go off script slightly because they sense an opportunity, it works and makes him look stupid.

Would get a perverse pleasure from him going somewhere for next to nowt, getting a chance to shine and being sold for £25m a few seasons later.
  9. Not really convinced he follows the teams fortunes on the pitch particularly closely. Like if you asked him what our last 5 results were off the top of his head, how accurate do you think he'd be able to be?
  10. Can just imagine Pardew at home stubbing his toe, "Facks sake Hatem!" Can't find his car keys, "Hatem you kant, how many more facking times?" Milk's gone off, "That's it you lazy frog twat, yer dropped! And two weeks facking wages!"

Your memory's shot mate, he was a fully grown man when he first signed for us.

So the authorities have known since October, how were they able to continue on the cup? Remember this? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2244501/Bradford-City-appeal-expulsion-FA-Cup-fielding-ineligible-player.html

You can say it's only one point and a doomed cup run, but surely having a player on the pitch you shouldn't have may have improved your goal difference even by playing in games you lost?

Local papers of other relegation candidates picking up on it from that angle. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-swansea-city-relegation-6916834

If it's by that point they got from Southampton I could see a West Ham/Sheffield United situation. That might be fun.

If only they'd won the cup, had two weeks walking around like a dog with two dicks, then had it taken off them again. My sides would not have been able to cope.

According to a mackem on RTG who has a mate who knows someone who knows Peter Beardsley.
  21. Note it doesn't take into account if that shot is a goal or an aimless punt in the vague direction of the sticks after failing to come up with any way of unlocking the defence.

Remember in spite of all this, this guy has outwitted Pardew twice by the way
  23. Nolan and Bardsley sharing a bit of manlove there before the goal
  24. I should have qualified that with "and believe it"
