  1. Aye, cracking save from Cech, mackems could be winning.
  2. Was on the SMB a full 20 minutes before it made it here - Ready To Go, always first with the latest Mag news
  3. Andy Carroll is out of his England debut against France in a devastating personal blow - and a major setback for Fabio Capello. The Newcastle United giant is ready to withdraw from his first full appearance with a groin injury that could also rule him out of Chris Hughton's plans for a couple of weeks. Carroll was due to get a run-out against the French as Capello goes experimental, but his international injury jinx has returned and dogged him - like it did for the under-21s recently. The Geordie hero's absence means Capello will struggle to have a close look at him before he names his squads for the European Championship qualifiers next year and it is a major opportunity lost. The late call-off also makes a nonsense of Capello's selection as Carroll was a key figure and his fitness was not fully factored into the final group. Capello may now have to rely on Peter Crouch, left out by Tottenham last midweek because he needed a rest, give Gabriel Agbonlahor a chance or promote the uncapped Jay Bothroyd. The Italian's choice was also a major snub for Bolton skipper Kevin Davies, who is in the best form of all of the candidates but has been discarded after one substitute appearance. Capello may call up Davies as an after-thought again, but the Wanderers hit man has also been feeling injuries after playing in every game of his club's storming run and could be unavailable. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Newcastle-Andy-Carroll-out-of-England-debut-v-France-with-groin-injury-article628995.html#ixzz15G4k3H4h
  4. Good stuff, can't say I personally rate him as highly as that but it'll give him more experience, increase his value and mean he goes to the top of the list of Newcastle defenders other clubs might want to nick. And if he plays and he's shit, who cares? It's only England.
  5. Nope, just ban people who use religion to cause trouble. Surely asking for the assistance of God is an attempt to cheat?
  6. If he can't clash shoulders with someone without hitting them in the chest then he's clearly unstable. There had to be more to it than that.. he went through hell at Wolves and took it. This was a much more frustrating game from a footballing perspective, if not in terms of the physical side though. Even if he was provoked, even if Gamst went down easy, it was a fucking stupid thing to do, what does it achieve? Make him feel better? Gamst wont even have a bruise, Barton's back in he papers, we're looking at losing a player through a ban, brings him back into the spotlight and makes him once again likely to be the target of harsh bookings because of who he is. Oh well, at least he got some of his frustration out.

  8. Just sums us up. We were on the other end of what we did to arsenal in the first half, we were too laid back and they were in our face all the time, never letting us get going. We gave away two stupid fucking goals and so many people had a bad game. Tiote had a fucking nightmare. They were shit as well, must be pissing themselves at that. Oh, and shola must have had his horlicks again.

    Sunderland...

Yeah good result for us, when we pip Spuds to a CL place by one point we'll be thanking the macums. ;) This is what is going to happen Something's going to happen to us or them based on goal difference and those 5 we bagged against them will come in to play.
  13. At least in that Sun article about Fat Head

    Harry Redknapp

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/mobile/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/9174101.stm Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has hit out at the club's fans after his side were booed off following the 1-1 Premier League draw with Sunderland.
  15. Moaning about it even being a yellow or even a free kick. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=538796 And the cheek to complain about the ref missing a handball against them
  16. Spurs let me down every time I have them as my banker on the prediction league, fucking useless spud bastards.
  17. Sounds like a line from the finale of a gay porno.
  18. Jack in Falmouth thinks Gareth Bale will enjoy another great night with two goals in a 3-1 victory to Spurs. Conor is a Sunderland fan and he's backing a 2-2 draw tonight. Conor fucking would.
  19. Looking forward to seeing how Hughton and this team fare tomorrow. We seem to have players, tactics and a formation which is adaptable to playing against a shit (or at least shit scared) team at home without falling into the trap of not having the urgency to go in for the kill, and to go to a difficult ground against a flair side and behave in a calm, organised manner, not panic and take our chance when it comes. Tomorrow is basically Sunday on a smaller scale with the tables turned. We're the team that's going to be expected to push forward and attack and Blackburn are going to be the 'well organised' and defensive minded away team who are going to try and stop us playing and wait for their chance to come if we don't make the most of our posession. What I like about this idea of Shola dopping back is that it allows us to change shape and tactics depending on how the game is going, without having to make a sub and maybe not being able to change back adequately enough if the game changes. As we saw on Sunday, we can even do it instantly within the normal ebb and flow of the game. We seem to be able to go from robot to truck and back again like optimus prime with just a quick "KUCKERCHOWAWAHWAH"
  20. Celtic's "Green Army" ultras seem to have more recently styled themselves along the lines of the Antifa hooligans you get in some European areas where the divade between local rivals is (rather than, say, primarily Catholic/Protestant,) characterised by one side being facist/capitalist/rightwing/nationalist and the other side being leftist/socialist/antifacist/seperatist. So the Rangers morons have their Nazi salutes and Israel flags (yeah, work that one out), and the Celtic morons have their Che Guevara banners, Palestinian flags and believe western troops to be imperialist baby killing murderers.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Well, yeah, winning the domestic league is fine, but does Chris have what it takes to win the Champions League when we're up against the likes of Barca rather than just Arsenal?
