  1. You have to log in to read that? I thought our official site was shit! At least you got the chance to log in, gone tits up now
  2. They're moving in the right direction, we're moving in the wrong direction. That should worry anyone.
  3. Wish I could be arsed to find some threads from 'ammers boards from when they signed them and were swanning around like a dog with two cocks, talking about challenging for the title
  4. Completely levelled then?

    Players in public

Saw Ferdinand at the metrocentre, bearsdley doing his christmas shopping in eldon square. Saw dyer in eldon about 3 or 4 times in one day, must have thought I was stalking him. Mickey Bridges was having a pint in my local a few months back. Steven Taylor watches matches on dodgy satelite in whitley sometimes and we've seen him a few times sitting on his own on park benches around Churchill looking lonley. A taxi driver I have every now and again points out players houses to me (and Roeder and Shepherds pads as well) but he could just be making it up
  6. Careful Vic, I think solicitation laws still apply online.
  7. It has everything to do with it. I don't start supporting nother team if we're not playing one weekend. I wouldn't support a different club if there wasn't a Newcastle all of a sudden. And I don't care if you believe me or not.
  8. I can go to the pub surrounded by mates who support different clubs, in different leagues watching games which have no bearing on Newcastle United whatsoever and still watch a game and enjoy it without supporting one team over the other. I don't see why that is hard to grasp or has anything to do with acting like a cunt.
  9. Howay then cuntlugs, what's the answer? It's certainly more feasible than someone claiming they would become comletely neutral for the next 20 years. Wouldn't do it myself, the sports are completely different. So you accept that people could find other interests, while maintaining a passing interest in football without having to pledge loyalty to one team?

  11. What if someone said they'd start watching the Newcastle Vipers, Falcons or Eagles instead (I know a Sunderland season ticket holder who became disalusioned with football and now pours all his energy into following Durham CCC, for example - he claims this is because of the state of the game in general, not just because they were shit at the time. Sure some people would be disallusioned if their favourite club vanished) Would this also be completely crazy-wackedout-don't believe you stop lying of course you wouldn't stuff too?
  12. The problem here is that when people don't come up with the response to your post you want, it's not because they don't understand you. Hypothetically speaking, if newcastle hypothetically speaking stopped being a football club I would, hypothetically speaking, not have a club I would say I supported. there is a difference between supported and being totally neutral, not having a favourite of any kind or any team whose progress you follow/results you look out for/defend in the pub I honestly thought that was clear in the OP Your post was completely clear, as was my answer. However, it's clear you have some form of comprehension problems. At the moment there are some clubs I like more than others but I would not count this as any of them. This would still be the case 20 years after Newcastle hypothetically vanished. I hope this is clear enough for you.

  14. read the OP. I know you have a habit of not, but do try. I don't mean you have to go to every game How many games would I go to? Who would I support? Would I have the replica kit? Please let me know, because you clearly know these things better than me. fine, you would have a preference for absolutely no-one. You would be the most boring cunt around. I can actually see where you're coming from now. I see, and when Newcaslte aren't playing is everyone in the pub when a match is on the most boring cunt around? You don't half talk some shite, no-wonder you cannit get any. didn't get that at all You seem to be implying taking an interest in football without supporting a team makes you a borning cunt. Just wondering if this stretches to following matches or leagues which newcastle aren't involved in when you don't actually support any of the teeams invovled?
  15. You mustn't have met many people then, one of my Dads mates is like that, goes to some matches, always watching games on the telly but doesn't have a favourite team. Do you not follow any football competition newcastle aren't involved in then? You never take any interest in the lower leagues, champions league, you'll never watch Chelsea Man U or whatever without singing for and supporting one or the other?

  17. I'd say "I supported Newcastle, but in a very unusual turn of events they vapourised. I still follow football but I don't have a favourite team. What do you mean you simply don't believe me?"

  19. I just want people to name the club out of interest, no other agenda. I simply don't beleive you. I simply don't beleive you.
  20. Sorry, I mean I'd support Accrington Stanley of course, superfan all the way, standing in the pissing rain week in, week out. But then you already knew this of course! Fair enough, you got me. Can't get one over you can we?
  21. For the rest of your life? Don't believe you Yes, for the rest of my life. Why ask a question if you're going to make up your own answer?
  22. Probably lose interest and just occasionally watch whoever was on telly. Certainly wouldn't bother picking another team.
  23. More chance of us getting him then if they've let him see the piss soaked bus-stop he'd be playing in if he joined the scouse mackems.

    Eriksson For Toon

Surely what Newcastle have been missing is a manager who can guarantee club success with a lot of cash?
