We are 5/1 on Paddy Power to win this, and it's still not worth it

Fucking wild times, sitting alone on the computer during lockdown chinning cans till 1am after winning the Papa John's trophy, their version of when we went to the San Siro. Something to tell the grankids about.

Cried! https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/who-cried.1544959/

It's alright lads, Brighton can't score goals.
-
Crease they're piping in Blaydon Races and "Nana-nah Geordies" instead of howls of derision and and anguish.
-
Have a feeling we're due a stupid sending off.
-
Even more fun when you know that he was a fantastic defender, but because we didn't feel he fit in with what we think a central defender should look like, he must be unsuited to British football. He left because he didn't follow Rafa's instructions Yeah, at the end of things, Rafa didn't want to play him for whatever reason Chancel culture

What a very Sunderland line on Look North "A local butcher is commemorating their appearance in the Papa John Trophy final by bringing out a celebratory sausage".

Gets a mention in Popbitch this week (as does Andros Townsend, weirdly enough.)

Shower thought, if a manager gets booked or sent off does it count towards that team's cards for betting purposes?

It would certainly be strange it being dead in the water less than a week after it being confirmed that it wasn’t dead in the water Why would that be strange? Everything is alive until the moment it dies. So you think pif have just suddenly walked away within a few days? Just as arbitration is about to start? That hasn’t started so it can’t be the case that’s dead in the water How not? If they've had a breakthrough in another deal and decided to drop it, or if PIF just change their mind on a whim as can be the wont of mad bone-saw weilding despots, why not? Not saying there's any actual insider knoweldge on it being dead but I can't see how it's absolutely impossible the deal has gone from the life-support it's been on for about 6 months to dead within the space of a week.

Sunderland paid Birmingham 3m for him as well, paying nearly 10m for that cunt to manage North East clubs sums the region up.

Not sure if it's so much a tide, as they didn't give a fuck when he was attacking the fans because we're at the bottom oif the ladder and he's a member of the PFM-osphere, but now he's attacking journalists, who to pundits are a step above shit managers and also a warning that they might be next to face his accusations.

Through my own wilful laziness at not doing anything about my season ticket I've already pre-paid a year in advance for a season of Championship Bruceball. Has anyone ever made a worse purchase?
-
They shouldn't bother showing this on Match of the Day at all.
-
No way, surely? Hendrick - 2 Clark - 1 Lascelles -1 Shelvey - 1 Joelinton - 1 Willock -1 That's the total league goals in this XI this season.
-
I mean even of Bruce was a half decent manager I wouldn't want him here because he's a genuinely horrible man.
-
I don't understand how he's even a pundit, you hear lots of players who were able to give insightful analysis in post-match interviews after a game, are we sure he's one of the best we've got? "Well, this is a complex situation which requires some thoughtful discussion. Paul, you've spent the best part of three decades turning your brain into Swiss cheese with a steady diet of booze, cocaine and head injuries and, let's face it, you were hardly fucking Oscar Wilde in the first place - what do you think?"
-
. "How do you think the players will approach the game after you tried to chin one of them?"
-
Can add "Shit scared of Ritchie" to "Graeme Jones's black and white army" on the Bruce wind-up song-sheet for when the fans come back and he's inevtiably still fucking here.
