  1. He'll sit them down for the "I'm not mad at you ... just disappointed" routine, feel guilty about coming down on them too hard and then take them out for ice cream.
  2. I'd like to hold off judgment on a thing like that, sir, until all the facts are in.
  3. Of course they wouldn't be the same. I don't think I'd be far off in saying that's because they don't consider Carroll and his rap sheet to be anything nearly as bad as Barton. Or were you implying another bias behind the switching of opinion?
  4. Statto I think. Only one I've seen http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/premier-league/2008-2009
  5. I thought it was a combo of the studs and throwing the haymaker with the left arm. Mascherano is a twat no mistake.
  6. He's not going. I don't think there's anything that can convince Capello to select him.
  7. At a quick glance I thought that sponsor was FML, thought it would fitting for us anyway
  8. Whatever it is he'll fuck it up. http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/4184/chartd.png
  9. Voted puma when the thread began. Result.
  10. "... and Arsene is FURIOUS!" *cut to shot of Arsene in one of those giant coats looking slightly miffed* I don't think it's possible to convey a stronger negative emotion than miffed when you're wearing one of them.
  11. I'd forgotten we had a game, checked livescore 0-0, came on here and we score. Coincidence?

Bit of a misleading title imo. If you're going to commend someone for keeping their head down and getting on with their job, "boring" isn't usually the best word. Not a lot else to argue with it about though.
  13. Yes. I also like the idea of staggered contribution. In.
  14. All over them, actually. RIP
  15. I will never tire of seeing Craig Fagan not do well.
  16. Aye, the grammar of opposition fans is startling. ediit: fast bastard.
  17. Torres. All day, every day. And twice on Sundays.

Ah, the daily mash. Marginally less funny than cancer.

I do agree he's a bad manager. Unfortunately, it's either him, Kinnear or Shearer right now. The right man from those 3 is in place. Whatever happened to ? Never heard of him getting involved in anything else and would take him over hughton.

  21. I'd just sleep a little easier knowing he had some more backing is all. I don't think it's fair to point to MA and say "well he had lots of money and made the right sounds and look where that got us." It wasn't his billions or statement of intent, it was being a complete moron. So long as Moat isn't a complete incompetent boob I suppose it'll be hard to do any worse, regardless of funding.
