  1. It's like when you and your girl have a big fight and she stays at a friends house for a few days then you talk it over and everything's back the way it was. Oh and the make-up sex is fantastic. So have you accepted that bloke she has on the side or has she kicked him out ? I don't think you understand the analogy if you're suggesting Keegan was seeing another club on the side ...

  3. As if a rickroll post can be ruined
  4. Maybe there's so much quality to sift through in the applications we're having a hard time deciding who to hire. West Ham probably didn't have that problem.
  5. He is Irish. They're always after his lucky charrrrrms! wow. Just wow.
  6. Thought Brazilians spoke portugese? What would our Argentine contingent think of being managed by a Brazilian. Seriously though if there's any truth in this link we should be falling over ourselves to get him in.
  7. tbf, there's not much written about this situation one way or another that isn't ridiculous hyperbole these days. "SHOOT ASHLEY IN THE FACE WITH A ROTTWEILER, SACK WISE, COME BACK KK", blah blah blah. It's all gotten rather boring. No, what's got boring is the fact that we have bent over and taken it up the arses from the club for the last 10 years or so. If you're genuinely classing the Newcastle United years 1998-2008 as "taking it up the arse" then ... I mean, I can't even respond to that. I really can't. There's so much wrong that it would be pointless.

  9. I just might before it's all over.

this is what Ashley and his merry men want....50 000 good little sheep behaving themselves Grow up. BooBoo isn't implying we shouldn't make our voices heard but is absolutely correct in simply stating that we need to get behind the team. sheep. Get some perspective. This isn't 50,000 lemmings following the pied piper off a cliff, oblivious to the turmoil and danger ahead of them. Older posters here can verify that as much as Keegan walking may hurt, the club itself is in nowhere near the dire straits it has been in the past. Does anyone here really think we're in danger of relegation? Are we hundreds of millions in debt and heading towards administration? Have all of our best players been sold and we're bereft of depth and quality? No. A manager with a history of walking out has walked out after a squabble with the board, we're sound financially and we have a decent though not large squad. It's not the end of the world, the board are not conspirators in an international assassination plot and deriding anyone who dares back the team as a "sheep" makes you a grade A cunt.
  11. But none of this happened, so what was the point again? I think it's a fairly obvious one that it's less about the "system" and more about the personalities involved. Whether it's valid is another question.
  12. Well, I, uh, don't think it's quite fair to condemn a whole program because of a single slip-up, sir.
  13. I'll be honest I don't hear enough out of the reserves to answer most of that list. Owen, Harper, Danquah and Donaldson yes the rest ... maybe?
  14. I think it's an overly romanticized idea that works for Barca out of sheer inertia but would fail for us.
  15. Doesnt matter. I think this will finish Keegan as far as management goes My thoughts as well.
  16. Can I ask where the "asset stripping" tag comes from? In the year and change since he's been here I've seen a lot of negative charges levelled at him but only in the past few days has that popped up. Is this just people repeating it over and over hoping it sticks without question or is there a specific history I'm blissfully unaware of?
  17. Have you actually read the original post or the rest of the thread? Mike Ashley did. He hired them to look after the day to day running of the football club because no doubt, being a billionaire businessman, he doesn't have the time on his hands to do it himself. Blaming Ashley (if the scenario i've portrayed is correct) is like blaming the owner of ASDA because your local branch has run out of baked beans - he hired the man who hired the man who hired the man who hired the woman who hired the person that orders the baked beans, therefore the owner must be killed! NO IT'S NOT. HE'S ONE LEVEL REMOVED not 20. I could understand absolving him of blame if he was 20. But he wasn't.
  18. Schweinsteiger actually coming here is actually the least believable turd in that steaming manure pile.
  19. There's shared responsibility there for the almighty cockup that is the last few days -- the mong behind it and the mong who appointed the mong. Even if his involvement was of an indirect nature, Ashley has to shoulder some of this.
  20. If potential investors see the level of support Keegan has, they'd probably be keen to make an approach. However, Keegan might not be so keen to take the job again after being humiliated. Aye, I think he's done.
  21. If that happens I will shit in your bed I am also shitting in your bed if that happens. However I'm shitting mine and giving up if it's Wise.
