JOEY BARTON GIVES A.I.D.S. TO ORPHANS, REMAINS UNAPOLOGETIC - Louise Taylor

Saw him too. Wants an assault of his own for spouting such shit.

I thought Given wasn't just settled down up north but well and truly cemented. Reckon he might reluctantly leave for a "big four" (man u the likeliest target due to both VdS showing his age and geographically) but tottenham? ahahaha.

I completely mistook his shyness for the hemming and hawing of someone new to a language. He used to throw in a lot of "errrrrrr"s too. Back to JFK and away from my stupidity -- I can see any new owners giving him until the end of the year and after a night to think on it I can't say I'd disagree.

Turns out that telling the press that you think the manager is shit at his job isn't a good career move. Martins' english has come a long way too. Used to be lucky to get 5 words from him post match.

every ball in should make any defender decide between the two. he had a good game yesterday (pedant alert). impressed in particular at his burst forward when he set up a move and both central midfielders,as they did all first game, refused to break forward.he got beyongd them and very nearly got on the end of something.....very philippe stylee. Confused the hell out of all parties involved right then.......the bit about defenders deciding......defenders shouldn't be attacking/defending...they should attack attackable balls and react defensivly when they cant attack them. the rest was a comment on a particular break of play that happened during the match. I know man I watched the match, I was meaning his run confused everyone on the pitch -- no villa player marked him at all and our guys were looking on bemusedly until the end there -- and pretty much everyone in the stands too. So completely out of the blue. Christ, the first post wasn't even lucid and that one was much worse. Nevermind me.

Well done Joe. Still don't want you here full time, but well done nonetheless. Toon from far away: I think we're getting a mix of Allardyce and Keegan here tbh. We've hoofed it at times aye but we're also playing some decent passing on the deck.

"So who's going to buy the club? We haven't a clue but we'll post like we do."
-
Yes I know that's why I said "apart from". Joe may know more than he's telling, may have been told he'll get little (if anything) in Jan, and to make plans to that effect.

Apart from the bit about xisco and enrique it makes perfect sense.

http://www.sports-direct-international.com/main.asp?pid=2 There are more underlings in that company to deal with communication and not every release needs a quote from him.

Right, I guess my thought on a ticket is that you're first and foremost purchasing a seat and whatever happens to the money is out of your direct control so I don't consider it investing any more than purchasing an iPod is investing in apple. I guess that still came off sounding dickish in my original post so apologies. As for his professionalism, non-communication is a pretty standard tactic in hostile environments. It's not "being the bigger man" or "turning the other cheek", no, I just said I don't blame him because I'd do the same. I'm a petty bastard myself.

I have three years of my money invested in this club, as have many others. Regardless of some fans' actions (or inactions, in my case), I feel I have the right to know what's going on - at least in more detail than has been the case. It's hardly rocket science to recognise there are more than the few thousand at SJP who protested that day who care about the club. Alright, small aside here and not to be too large an asshole about it but I take exception to using the term investing. You've bought a season ticket not stocks or a government bond. Gussying it up as "investing" is just a ridiculous semantic illusion to try and put the weight of a financial transaction larger than "purchased a good" behind it. As for whether or not you or anyone "deserves" to know what's going on I think it's a bit too late for formal and polite conversation. Again, he's already been forced into selling, why bother separating the wheat from the chaff at this point? "To all the people who weren't dickheads: the sale is progressing nicely. To all the dickheads: fuck you and your mother." ? It's a taste of their own medicine thrown back at them and they find it hard to swallow. We'll know about the sale when we know about it. Do you know they haven't? I don't. I don't know as they have either so I can't and won't bring that into consideration.

Parade around a stadium with "Cockney Mafia Out" banners, stage protests and boycotts and then wonder why word from the top isn't forthcoming? No, it wasn't all supporters but once the damage is done why try to pick apart who to talk to and who not to? I wouldn't if I was Mike, tbh.
