Don't we already have one? Our club shop at the ground is an Adidas megastore, so I'm told anyway, I've never been in like.

Aye. I hate that we've been pining for the start of the season for so long, and it barely starts and straight away there's a big international break. Sick of 'em.
-
I think we'll be surprised by how good he is.
-
a) they're going down, or at least going to be lucky to keep their heads above water b) Europe will involve one tie and they'll get their arse handed to them
-
Good point. Laursen was immense though.

Answered your own question there I think. £2million out of the window now though for someone to sit on the bench! we couldve got someone for free to do that Yeah but they probably wouldn't be one of the prize assets of the team that finished 6th in the Premiership last time out.

nothing a big pie won't fix. Don't know what your problem is with Viduka, so far you have been proven wrong. I said he was a class player based on what he produced last season, which you laughed at. For us this season he's scored one goal against one of England's finest defenders and it was a goal that had class stamped all over it. These are the facts, plain and simple. You have got to be kidding? Other than score one admittedly good goal he has been very very disapointing. He's been marked out/completely dominated by his markers, he's not created anything or been able to hold the ball up and he'd looked as dangerous as..... pattison. Martins and Owen have to start imo and i'd have Shola in over Viduka Not created anything? He set up our best chance against Villa, a great chance for Martins against Boro, set up Owen twice on Saturday - once when he should have scored and then when his goal was wrongly disallowed. I have never seen a player as dominated as Viduka was against Villa, same as with Bolton and Boro, I missed Saturdays game so can't comment on that one. Shola would have created/scored more imo although i'd have Martins and Owen atm Yet he still slipped a beautiful through ball to Milner, whose lay off was scuffed by Smith when he should have scored. Only time we split their defence. I find it amazing that people can just dismiss years of shite performances from Ameobi, and I'm not even one of these people who thinks he's that bad. You don't think Ameobi would have been dominated by both Mellberg AND Laursen presumably? That's the two who dominated Drogba yesterday - in case you've forgotten.

Lescott added to the squad.

Wasn't Ballack free? Some record.

You plank, it's God-awful. I quite like the home one, but it looks daft without a number.

Rich is too lazy to be a janitor.

Villa rejected milner when newcastle tried to squeeze barry into the deal CLOWN Ok.
-
Owen might be small but he's still better in the air than most.
-
God only knows how anyone could pick Shola over Viduka or in fact any of our strikers. He's been around so long the fact that he's simply not very good doesn't seem to matter anymore.
-
I can't name many players in the team that is does suit. Only thing I can think of is the abundance of talent we have in central midfield.
-
Villa didn't say no, you clown. He was sat waiting to sign until Boro told us to fuck off for Viduka. I like how we "don't look anywhere near" beating any of the top 5. Must have imagined the double over Spurs, the win over Liverpool and the various other points taken off the top 5 last season - with a shit team.
-
4-3-3 doesn't suit him - it doesn't suit any of our strikers for that matter.
-
I'd be surprised if we're ever beaten again tbh.
-
It's amazing that Milner's never been tried out for anyone in central midfield really. Since his lack of pace is his major flaw, you'd think someone would have stuck him in there. Not in a central pairing, but as one of a central trio, why not?
-
Milner has missed for us before, maybe Watford last season? Not that that rules him out or anything like. Emre's was tidy against Pompey last season, I'd happily see him taking them when he's on.
-
I agree too, but at the moment he is hamstrung, pardon the expression by the loss of Barton and Emre. He realises this and changed it around in the last two games. Personally as mentioned, I'd rather see us playing 4-4-2, at home anyway, it will be interesting to see what happens when Enrique, Barton and Emre are all ready. I think 4-3-3 means we don't get the best from our best players (our strikers and our wingers) and means we can't fit as many in as we should have. I think the return to form of Owen may force the 4-4-2, which for me is a good thing.
