  1. We desparetely need a striker, so fingers crossed it's us tbh. Got a funny feeling he'll be Spurs bound if they can't sort out Ade though.
  2. This better be on .cockTV sharpish.

That's a well written article, and seems to be written by someone channelling my opinions on him. Is it someone on here? I'd just add that he never really did Heskey on for Carew, it tended to be Steve Sidwell on on 75 minutes. In fact, no "tended to be" about it, it was almost every week Pilko =
  4. Yeah, good words, and ones that should even avoid upsetting the A.S.S*. His manager Alan Pardew told the Chronicle: “He has a good attitude. Things were not great for him. “He only has one year left and the contract we offered him he did not think it was right. “We have not had a bid which has been right for him, so he has stayed here. “He has to earn a contract with us – or with another Premier League club which he will get. “So we will have to wait and see. “His attitude, though, has been first-class.” Read More http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2012/08/17/danny-simpson-could-be-thrown-newcastle-lifeline-72703-31640887/?#ixzz23nKaRaZ4 * Anti Simpson Society
  5. Would have thought so. I believe the degree of recognition to our dinner ladies new tradition was even enough to coin the popular ditty, 'Feed them goat and they will score! They will score!' at one point.

He's talking about Gaston Ramierez. http://www.mopays.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/gaston-ramirez-liverpool-move.jpeg Doing the "Mo" Farah before even "Mo" Farah did the "Mo" Farah.
  8. I thought that but thought Dave had made it so convinced myself I was wrong Added to that, there are 8 Muslims on the playing staff apparently. No love for the other six? Are they also named Demba? Er....no. /going to be a stonking hangover today.

you'll have to persuade me that he's decent but foolish. Nah, not me. Let him into your life and he'll do that himself. some said the same for joey barton, i didnn't beleive that bull either. Barton was old enough at the time to know better. Nile is the wayward younger brother who, for better or worse, needs to get his allowance cut and move down South to get an education.

He's a decent but fairly foolish lad, and not in the right headspace to progress at our club. But I struggle to dislike him, and am slightly sickened by some of the comments against him. We gave him the absurd contract. Accept the mistake we made, wish him well if he goes, and move on.

  14. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/premier-league/transferuebersicht/wettbewerb_GB1.html Good to look through passed years as well. Like any site, use your own judgement, but over the years they've seem pretty on the ball imho.

  16. Wouldn't call him a hard man from what I've seen. More a ball playing DM who reads the game well enough to intercept or recover, rather than physically throwing himself around.
  17. No. No it wouldn't. We'd still be better off than last season.
  18. Keeping us in suspense for a reason?
  19. And now after his interview Anita, plus I'd not be devastated seeing Saylor or Tavs play. Liking the look of Tavernier a lot. Why? We've got two decent strikers and we only usually play one up front. Like said yesterday the one key area we are still weak in the first 11 is right back (or left back if you move Santon to the right). I really believe two quality full backs could make a massive difference to our game. Papiss and Ba will be playing most games together, not rotated. With one or both occasionally out injured for periods (or going to the ACN), relying on a perpetually injured Shola as backup now that Best and Lovelypants have gone is just asking for trouble imho. Upgrading out rightback may be desirable, but if we don't, we have solid enough depth in those positions now. So you would rather improve the bench than the first team? righto I think we need a fullback more so than a striker, but not for this reason. Strikers and centre backs are difficult to replace if they are injured/suspended where as fullbacks are far easier to fill in with a temporary stopgap. We lose both Papis and Ba for any length of time and we're probably fucked. Bingo. I'd fucking love it if we brought in Debuchy, but it wouldn't be the end of the World if circumstance saw us having to wait for another window. I'll be sweating like a fat man all season if we fail to bring in any striking cover.
