  1. A lot more, £2.75m a year + bonuses over 6 years. Hopefully he buys Sunderland. Player/manager/owner.
  2. Dokko

    Sunderland

Desperate to makes themselves even more league one each year.
  3. Apparently he’s not been told off whatsoever about his conduct. Heard it on here so must be true. Full week now.
  4. Sadly you are probably right but dunno if he deserves mocking For it. Wasn’t good enough and what’s going to be a tough time to be a lower level footballer I’m just hoping he does get a gig somewhere and makes a living from it. Colback though, shame he’s rich as I’d him to be picking up dogshit or parking ticket twat for the rest of his days. Realistically though we’ll have to go with ‘Loses his fortune in rectangle scheme’ Wouldn’t your money some come back to you in a rectangle? Well that makes the headline even better
  5. He’s marmite, but I find him quality entertainment. Wouldn’t want him to be my manager, but happy to see him doing ok elsewhere.

  7. Mackems frying as Colin was their no1 choice after he said nice things about them.
  8. PIF won’t walk, it would be bowing down to Qatar. If anything it’ll make them more determined, you are more likely to see them snaffle up more media and steaming orgs Related to sports IP. Comcast next imo.
  9. So he organised it but some daft Fucker actually flew it. Really!? What a twat.
  10. There’s SAFCs new football friends sorted.
  11. Save the kids for the weekend
  12. Better than discussing Keys' latest secretions. Anyway, long time Tidal subscriber. If you are moderately geeky about audio, Tidal Hi-Fi is the way to roll - lossless streams and access to a nice and growing selection of master recordings - worlds different in sound quality. Oh, and here's a nice relatively recent comparison of what services pay out. Tidal currently pays out about 3 times as much per stream as Spotify does. £3 for 3 months. I’m taking it hifi is better than premium for sound quality?
  13. Out of spite that the Saudis have the rights from next season? Most likely. Toys out the pram.
  14. Thread creation is for local people; there's nothing for new members here.
  15. This - I used to have loads of pirated music but haven’t downloaded anything dodgy in years as Spotify feels like good value and covers pretty much everything I listen to. Football costs a fortune and being split across a number of providers inevitably means there are plenty of games I don’t have a access to (even after paying all that money). Spotify gives the square root of fuck all to the artists Perhaps it means the most popular artists earn less. At the same time it allows for much lower barriers of entry for starting bands and artists, less reliance on agents (record companies) and arguably a healthier marketplace for music. The analogy works quite well with football come to think of it. Don't agree with this....the best will always earn millions one way or another. I personally think Ed Sheeran is garbage, and Adele couldn't sing her way past the first round of x-factor, but enough people disagree with that opinion that they are sitting in houses worth millions, and I'm almost certain they sit and dry their tears over my opinion with £50notes every night Yeah. I’m sure I’ve seen plenty of artists come out and say that singers are now required to do more tours if they wish to make money anymore. I think a lot of them have recouped revenue through the increase in popularity of vinyl, and other merchandise though. However they have said that they now have to work more for their money rather than spending a few weeks every couple of years in a recording studio.l like they used to be able to do. Artists Always say they make no money from record sales, downloads, streaming services and touring, all this from their 3rd mansion in the hills after a long day flying on their private jet. I’m not saying I agree with them. All I’m saying is that they now say they have to work harder for the same level of income. Garth Brooks is the highest selling solo artist in US history. For a long time he refused to sign with a streaming service, the reason being was because they don’t offer enough to him for his music and he doesn’t want to cannibalise his album sales with people playing his music on a streaming platform where he would make a lot less. He eventually signed for Amazon for a deal better than what Amazon offer to other artists, but to get that deal he had to agree to exclusivity. On top of that the vast majority of his listeners are unlikely to have an Amazon account or use their streaming service, so therefor he will still likely retain a large percentage of his album sales. Tidal was created by music artists and is one of the highest paying streaming providers, they created it because they were tired of the lower offers from existing streaming platforms. I was mainly joshing, but didn’t know that about tidal, their catalog good? Would move over from Spotify, I’ve no loyalty to them as long as I can also share to my amp via bt.
  16. It’s gonna be like carrying water in a sieve when it does leak. You could flip it, and say still nothing concrete to say it isn't this week or it is close True, however I still think if it is to happen we would get a definite leak from somewhere first.

  18. Yep - similar pages. I think Heaton or Fabianski would be belter back ups to Dubs too. Miles better than Darlow and Elliott and also good to develop young Woodman to be the number 2 if he doesn't go back out on loan. Personally, would rather see woodman push dubs from the bench and get Gillespie in for 3rd choice. That to me seems a nice mix of keepers. You could keep it like that for some time as well as long as woodman steps up. If not he goes out on loan. I’m weve got to give woodman a chance, or he gets loaned to a prem team as 1st choice. He’s completed the championship, that’s his minimum level now and the path has just cleared to 2nd choice for us, I’d feel a bit sorry if we blocked it with another keeper. Lewis and Godfrey looks decent as individuals, but as a collection (with Aarons) it just doesn’t work. You’d hope we’d be in for a better lb, but Lewis to push (like woodman in my above scenario) and same for Godfrey (Clarke replacement, we need a 1st team replacement for lejuene as he’s sadly injured a lot) and aarons the best of the bunch is almost there for first team.
  19. 6 pages in a day on how shit Bruce is. Thought he’d been sacked.
  20. Agreed on all three counts. Deulofeu just needs a bit more consistency to his game imho. Forgot about him ,aye.
