Sissoko has limited technique which will stand out something rotten in a good team once his physical presence can't hide it. He's also a massive self-centered egotistical cunt; one of the worst we've ever had the displeasure to endure here and we've had some corkers. Saying all that, i'd be wanting £15m+ for him, anything less and we've not done enough to drum up interest. He's easy money to us, i expect us to hold out till after the Euro's to shift him just in case he has one of those debut-esque moments and adds £5m to his value.

If his heart is not in it then fair enough, we all move on. He could do a lot better though and would have if he waited for a bit. I think any good player who could easily walk away but chooses to stay instantly gets huge amounts of credit for the rest of their career here and deserves recognition and fond memories afterwards...he's trading that to play for parades at palace just because they are in the premiership for one season. Daft lad and it will absolutely bite him in the arse this time next year.

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)

That didn't happen though. I was keen to give the lad a chance and not hold where he came from against him, very small time mentality iyam... And for a couple of games looked a decent rotational pick... However that became progressively worse as it went on. I can only apologise for not instantly disliking him because he played for Sunderland, I'll not be open minded ever again. I tried to give riviere the same chance (because I have been accused for not giving players a chance because of the being 'forrin') but my patience ran out after 2 games People still down on English players and Townsend suffered from that, Ritchie won't get the same due to Rafa being the man bringing him in but had this been a mcClaren signing shit would have hit the fan, same with Gayle. I've said for years now we need more English players who give a shit about the club, see us as a big club and want to play for us, not treat us as a stepping stone... But they do need to be the right quality as well. We've just not struck the right balance, I think rafa sees this from the off and I expect to see more domestic players come in than foreign, which would be typically strange for a foreign manager. -

I don't disagree on the penny pinching has cost us point, it's bang on, it absolutely has. My point on Ritchie stands though, townsend proved us all clueless. I'll reserve judgement on Ritchie until I've seen him. (how many times you seen him play by the way?) Townsend was always a good signing, a few very vocal usual suspects on here doesn't really change what a lot of people though he was, a good player. As for Ritchie, I've not seen much of him apart from (and I think this is the guy) when he tore us apart for 75mins down their gaff and deserved to win the game single handedly. If it's him then brilliant. I also like the sound of Gayle. I'm hoping its two players who see how good this club can be instead of cheap nasty imported shite that wouldn't piss on us if we were on fire. -
Michael McGovern is on a free. He'll have loads of offers after his euro performances but it's worth throwing our hat in there. Much better than what we've got if the euros is anything to go by.

If any player could benefit from a season In the championship it's him.

Bet it's dire in Scotland atm, even Northern Ireland made it Were we expected to be competent this year? First time I've enjoyed an England game in years. Roy's done a decent job moulding a squad out of some young emerging players. Shame he brought Milner though, and it's a case of wedge Rooney in somewhere because of his name. Apart from that he's done well, much better than I expected. Though think he lost this one with his subs

Fuck off Kane

Euro 2016 trouble - Russia handed suspended disqualification by UEFA

I hope that's a joke Liverpudlians are well known for their wit. Cunts. Wtf, this actually happened? How? "Wallet inspector!" I could just about see it as well. -
Probably bumps him up the list if anything
-
I hope its allowed to care about the fee now. For years I've been told on here it doesn't matter, maybe that changes now?

There's going to be a massive WTF signing like this that we all question (possibly just in secret) and will have to come out with 'In Rafa we trust' etc...
-
Surely the train does the opposite of unfolding in a crash... sorry this bothered me more than it should.
-
Can't believe how many people defended him last time he cried about leaving and mocked me for saying I'd snap a clubs arm off for £25m. Let's hope unlike last time it's not all in his head and some idiots want him and willing to pay daft money. Spineless cunt.

What's the likelihood of picking up one senior and one junior In the family end, with no history of season tickets? I'd bite at £400 for me and the bairn now Rafa is staying, but I can only imagine the tickets being gold dust in that section due to price.
-
I can see him doing well for a bit then it taking a massive nose dive.
-
Hopefully he'll get 10 years...it's the only way he'll stay alive if he's incarcerated.

No idea what to make of England. On one hand they look young and dynamic, showing potential then all of it out of the window bring dominated by team only half arsed. Think Roy has done well to usher out the Gerard and lampard era, maybe he needed to take it one step further and do the next mans job and boot Rooney out as well.

Flying kick to the head = red. Shouldn't have his head so low to the ground. No wonder he nearly tripped on it.
-
Souness did similar with Taylor and his shoulder. Totally fucked him over by bringing him back far too early several times.
-
Fingers crossed we see some movement soon on a few players leaving. Gives us more room to work with once they are off the books.

Laugh all you want but he forced pardew to choose between him and a merry band of cunts wanting to stay on his side against hba who wasn't applying himself in training and laughed in colos face when he confronted him several times. Me or him, Pardew sided with his captain, sent hba to hull while those who sided with him have never really played for the club again either (Marv, sameobi, bigi, kemen)
