  1. Probably spent £100m trying to replace peter schmeichel
  2. I also used to love Due South.
  3. De Gea is one of the rare things they've got right and now it's about to be undone.
  4. Who have we let go under MA that's gone on to be good? I'm probably forgetting someone brilliant but Forster is probably about the best and we received £4m for him, Celtic only made £4m profit and none of us would have chosen him over Krul at the time when the player himself wanted the move.
  5. Maybe this is the one that breaks the system, like the Bosman ruling; they could call it Martial Law.

    Papiss Cissé

    But he scores goals.

No chance we will replace him this late in the afternoon. Might as well keep him till the next window.
  8. And there's the consistency which for me is the only issue i have with all this. Its a total disgrace having one rule for the top 4 and another for everyone else. They aren't even subtle about it any more. I've seen Rooney go out of the way to elbow a player in the face, and have nothing done then or after. That was probably the decision that broke the camels back for me, no going back from that. The FA are as corrupt as FIFA. The whole sport needs nuking.

He was 16 at the time which was a pretty important piece of information left out so important he tried to cover it up falsifying his sons birth certificate and getting his first wife to lie about it. Age of consent in Senegal is 16 btw.

Not when you hide behind religion as the reason why you don't want to promote Wonga. The guy is a creep. No better than Adam Johnson, no idea why people would defend him goals or not.

It's funny how the gambling, spitting, sisha smoking, bigamist who knocked up a 13 year old has a problem with Wonga when it suited him to force a move; is now crying through his agent that he's not wanted. I really don't blame the club for trying to shift him, he's probably the most shifty fucker we've had on our books since Bowyer.

    Jose Mourinho

I can see him walking again, very soon.
  14. This season he's started well but the main thing for me is what he's doing with the new guys. He's all over them with support and generally talking to his defence. Its totally different to what we've seen from him, it could be a case he's maturing but it also could be a case of coaching him and making him take responsibility as an older player.
  15. I think he ran himself in to trouble twice and on one of those occasions bust a gut to cover and eventually positioned himself to where the pass was intercepted. I've seen the behaviour you mention several times a match with him, but today i don't think that can be levelled at him. It could be that the sensible and safe option is more suited to how things went after 16mins therefore his mentality suited this situation. After all, he's had plenty of practise at his former club
  16. This for me. Slow in releasing the ball when he had it, but overall he did well today. There's no need for him and Anita to both be on the pitch though. With 10 men you'd want to hold on to the ball, especially against arsenal

    Steve McClaren

Statistically its been a poor start for him but it really is a case of the statistics are lying. Not only about the football and the organisation, but the attitude and the professionalism off the park, its all adding up. I really do think his bad experiences have played a part in what we are seeing already, and im sure with the right support from the board he can make us respectable again. SJP is a totally different place right now, i feel it calling me back.

Those were his niggling tackles, which ultimately led to his yellow which although for me was eventually justified was totally necessary in the job he was doing today. Totally cliché but for me he's a totally different player under SMC to anything i've seen from him since he joined us. We've got to be excited to see what he can do alongside De Jong and Gigi when the dust settles.

You'd have thought he was 6ft4" built like a brick shithouse with some of the tackles he was putting in. I've never seen that from him, he's loving it ATM, please continue.
  20. Should anyone be surprised when he is put alongside someone that has a brain and can defend. Colo has been dragged down by alot of different factors that have also got in his head. A quality LB would probably make him look even better. Keeping him and mbemba fit all season will be the biggest challenge. He was partnered with Taylor last week and was arguably better.
  21. You could say its an easy game for him as we weren't expecting anything after 16mins, however if he decided to throw the toys out the pram it would have been a drubbing.
  22. His best game for us IMO. Did everything right bar a couple of loose balls.

MoTM for me today, thought he was superb.
  24. Agreed in full, however its a damn shame the letter of the law is fully applied to us yet favourable teams get away with it game on game. Its the consistency that annoys me. The ref today was spot on apart from the pen and the colo booking. Also he was booking our players for every niggly foul and letting arsenal ones slide. So I would hardly call him spot on like, even if the Mitrovic decision can't really be argued. Anita was booked for niggly fouls, he made 4 of them up to the booking. Don't think you could say that about any others.
