This. Do we currently have one player who can deliver a good cross?
Sissoko, Cabella, Janmaat
I've only actually seen good consistent crossing from Janmaat and Aarons
Two things we miss about Shearer I see little discussed:
1. The Fear Factor - maybe not in the Premier League, but in Europe you would get players so in awe of him that they would do silly things like back passes.
2. Referee influence - he knew how to get what he wanted off the ref 9 times out of 10
Also regarding talk of being able to offload Williamson, not only is he not good enough for many clubs, Carver accusing him of getting sent off on purpose will have potentially put off a good number of other clubs.
Like I said yesterday we are going to have to sell as according to the rule book we actually have too many players.
Of course removing Ferguson and Vuckic, Rob Elliot and Williamson is preferable to losing Sissoko, but are there takers?
I have just had a look at the player count at the club.
This is important as it was a states club policy to not employ more than the permitted 25 players.
Including Perez (not sure of cut off date) and Sammy we have 26. So we have too many players and the club will not be active in the transfer market (by their stated policy) unless they get rid of players.
I think the immigrants would be perfectly happy living in the countryside free of oppression if allowed.
There are worse things than grizzly bears in other parts of the world.
Would say a house like that would fetch 600k to 1.5m in the UK depending on location so would be worth more than James Perch.
UK average price is 170k so in UK terms it is at least three times average.
That's not how you do the equation though. Need to look at the average wage in relation to average SQM prices.
Value is nothing, perceptions are everything and a straw poll will indicate that this house is a very nice house.
