    Fabio Zamblera

    Good luck to the lad.
  3. Peter's just as fast as Charlie. Indeed, but he's going to play less, making his pace less of a factor to the team.
  4. Goalkeeping - Weakened Defending - No change Creativity - Weakened Scoring Goals - Strengthened Pace - Weakened Squad depth - strengthened
  5. We aren't in a position to get the best untarnished players. With a choice of tainted talented players, or reliable mediocrity, I'd go for the former every time. There is a reason a top manager like Sir Bobby made a good club out of these types of players.
  6. Some figures haven't been officially confirmed, but an estimate would be: In: Barton - £5.8m Rozehnal - £2.9m Geremi - Free Alan Smith - £6m Cacapa - Free Enrique - £6m Faye - £2m Beye - £2m Baheng - £500k Kadar - £400k Tozer - £500k Zamblera - £300k Diatta - Free Sodeberg - £250k Jonas - £2.5m Guthrie - £2m Bassong - £1.5m Coloccini - £9.1m Ranger - Free Xisco - £5.7m Gonzalez - Loan Arestidou - Loan Lovenkrands - Free Nolan - £4m Taylor - Free £51.45m Out: Parker - £7m Dyer - £8m Huntington - £500k Solano - £1m Luque - £2.6m Pattison - £400k Carr - Free Ramage - Free Troisi - Free Diatta - Free Rozehnal - £2.9m Emre - £5m Faye - £2.25m Milner - £12m Given - £5.9m N'Zogbia - £6.5m £54.05m

    Ryan Taylor

The one thing about Raylor that fills me with optimism is that having him in our team may add that little extra fear in the opponent. I've had this feeling that for a while, the likes of Martins and Jonas get scythed down without the fear that we'd hurt a team from the set-piece. Such a situation could leave opponents in two minds.
  8. I wouldn't accept it, but I think Ashley could make up to £50m if it happenned. Player sales + parachute payments + the assumption that those prospects we've signed would be good enough for this level. I voted no btw.
  9. I've actually felt for some time that this is the only realistic way that Ashley can get his money back on this club. A massive gamble, but Ashley is a gambler.
  10. On transfer deadline day you should be prepared and have a plan. There clearly was no plan, which suggests no intention. The plan was to finalise the Taylor deal and bid for Johnson. There was a plan, just perhaps not the best one. Part of the pre-deadline day plan needed to establish beyond reasonable doubt that such a move was possible if we stumped up an affordable amount of cash. This preparation did not happen.

It only becomes 10 for me when its mathematically impossible to stay up, so I'm now up from 9 to 9.5.

Then the board could just consult video archives and provide evidence of lie after lie. Plus it would be hard to do so when the buffoons at the club are trying to give him a three year extension to his contract.

At one point he said Wise was doing the buying and selling. It has been said that Wise has been sacked. The voices in your head don't count as rumours. This was being widely posted a couple of days ago by other people. Please apologise.

Howard Wilkinson won the Old Old English Division One in 1992. Him and Kinnear of of the same ilk, of the same era. That was what we got when we appointed Kinnear. Howard Wilkinson without the pedigree.

Because hopes of a solution in terms of fixing the team's playing staff problems has been completely eradicated. I'm kind of hoping he did get screwed over and decides to quit as a result.

This guy would take us to the bottom half of the Championship at best. He has to go.
  20. Would he like to be manager? Anyone is better than the oaf we've got.

    Direct Debit?

There is actually a thread somewhere on here that explains the procedure of cancelling your direct debit without the club suing your pants off.
  22. So we've sold our best player at a reduced price? And then failed to reinvest it on a player who might keep us up? Nice one.
  23. The thief was clearly taking the piss.
  24. I went for nothing, but the reality was -£8.4m
  25. Selling our best players? We've sold a keeper who put in a transfer request that we have a ready replacement for and one of the most under achieving player we've had for a long time. When was the last time Zog had a good game by the way?, I really can't remember. Huh? Along with Martins he is our most threatening player. Even this season, if you ignore his appearances at LB. Underachieving yes but doesn't ignore the talent, if the club was more stable either of them wouldnt leave - seeing as they both signed contracts recently. Players brought/bringing in. Taylor a defender good enough for championship takes a mean free kick and Kevin 'no good game in 2 years' Nolan. I remember when we signed Duff, Chelsea fans were saying aint had a good game in about a year. Same thing is happenning 'o all he needs is a change, better environment here, first team football.. will come good'. Johnson would be a good move but my optimism is at rock bottom. Most threatening player?, when? Yes he has talent but that means f*** all if its very VERY rarely used. He's done nowt for us this season, just like last season. As for our two most threatening players, Jonas and Martins, N'Zog isn't even on the list overall because he's only threatening once every 10 games. I'm not going to argue this anymore, I think you have an agenda because he's left and you have the hump with him. He has been threatening when played in his natural positions more games then not, which is an achievement considering just how shit we are. First half of last season he was our best player behind Martins upto December, also the part of that season when KK started to win games he was very good too, so don't understand the 'fuck all' comment there. You didn't really defend what I said about the signing brought in mind? You agree with me on that? When KK started to win games he wasn't in the team.
