  1. I also doubt there is a player involved, as I suspect the press will have picked up on it.
  2. The BBC say the fee is agreed also, they estimate £8m.
  3. Unfortunately, today was going to be the day to get the best fee of City, as it needs to bedone today for him to be allowed to play in the UEFA Cup.
  4. S. Taylor and R. Taylor will probably be what's on the back of the shirts iirc when it comes to players with the same last names. Don't think S. Taylor will be happy with that like
  5. So how are we going to name Taylor and Taylor to know who we are talking about?

    Returning Players

Matty Pattison the way things are currently going.
  7. Yes i think butt would go in that scenario imho. False hope imo.
  8. Would Kinnear want to play him ahead of Nolan and Butt?
  9. An advantage of Taylor is that he will make the opposition team more afraid of Gutierrez and Martins, as right now, giving a free kick away against Newcastle is a way of stopping us.
  10. Something we need right now though, and obtained in a deal that is pretty much twice the cash Zog is worth plus a body. In other words, this is £1.5m + Nolan and Taylor for N'Zogbia. Now we need to spend the Given money on the best midfielder we can find.
  11. Does not compute. First line was a childish jibe (sorry).
  12. Thought we knew he was out for months a while back.
  13. So we are now getting outspent by clubs like Wigan, swapping our best players for money and inferior players didn't happen under the old board. Very pleased with this deal, we've got someone much more needed by NUFC and a lot of money for it. Zog was woth no more than £3.5m in my opinion, and that was before his outburst. Now we just need to ditch the manager.
  14. Wonder what Kinnear is saying to have the need to cross his fingers behind his back?

    Nile Ranger

Nile Ranger's Dreads are 20 today. Happy Birthday.
  16. All irrelevant with the man in charge.
  17. This isn't up to date. We could be lower.
  18. If I was the owner of NUFC and was fucking minted, I'd end Zog's career to be honest.
  19. For a start, we don't know if that was what insulted him. Secondly, why now? I'm not a Zog fan, but it's just a testament of one of the many wrong goings on that show that everyonein charge needs to go.
  20. The most recent estimate suggested that he has lost £1.1bn in about 18 months (58% of his wealth)
  21. To be honest, I think there is now only one route that is likely to get Ashley his money back, and no-one, least of all myself is going to like this: Go down. Pocket the parachute payments, the sales, and the savings in wages, and gamble on the youth system being good enough to bring us straight back up. I just can't perceive any other face -saving scenario.
  22. I'd say it is around about £120m to £130m (or alternatively £30m plus the loan Mr. Ashley) Going below £100m in a matter of days though, as no expenditure will dramatically reduce the probabilty of a buyer having a Premier League club to play with.
