It is artificial segregation really. I'm sure that there would be less race issues if people from different communities integrated with white British society rather than all being bunched together, talking to one another in their own languages etc. The separate communities you see in many cities just leads to mistrust and lack of understanding.

The worry is with all these threads is that when Keegan signs the modern day Andy Cole, or the modern day Les Ferdinand with no Deco or Ronaldinho in sight, people are going to be very dissapointed as a result of the hype they themselves have created.
-
Signs until 2010, and he wants to go out on loan next season. Fair play to the lad, he has apparently worked really hard for the past couple of seasons.

Only thing I remember Edgar getting badly wrong was in the first five minutes, the ball was out wide, we had lots of men back, so Edgar decided to help close down their winger but ended up getting nutmegged and then obstructing Hunt to give away a free kick. You seem to have to be in a pro-Taylor or anti-Taylor camp in the minds of some on here, and I certainly think that there are some pro-Taylor figures who would attack anyone that is blocking Taylor's closest route to the first team, while anti-Taylor people always think that it should be Taylor that is replaced by others. I know it has been refreshing to see us stick with a settled team, but I'd now take turns to rest individuals from the established team for singular matches, and bring players in to see if they can contribute with our current system. I'd wait till after Portsmouth and mackems though, as I want some pride from those games. Then I'd try playing Kadar at left back for one game, give Edgar another go at CB in another game, and try Forster in goal and Carroll in Viduka's role.

Just don't post any fixture lists guys.

Henry is also a better left winger than anyone in our squad if we wanted to stick with our current trio up front.
-
I think Arsenal became one dimensional in Henry's last season because he was the only 'name' in the team and team mates looked in his direction too much. Same happenned with Owen at Liverpool, and England too before Rooney came along. I don't think we'd be quite as one dimensional with Henry in our squad.
-
I think he'd still contribute more to the team than Martins when he plays, and I reckon that Martins could learn a lot understudying Henry, and would still get enough games when Henry gets injured. For me, I think we still need to buy the cake mixture, bake it, put the icing on the cake, and if we still have the resources, Henry would make a sumptious cherry.

Essentially, Wigan have missed out on Europe then because their players didn't respect the referees as well as Manchester City's, and because Steve Bruce/Chris Hutchings weren't as proffessional as Sven Goran Eriksson. Goes to show that those little things can actually benefit your club.

Like someone says, no worse than something you'd see on South Park or in a satirical magazine.

All hail Alan Smith If you look at how we've scored points, as discussed earlier in the thread, it is more of a case of "All hail Sam Allardyce and his shit football" than "all hail Alan Smith".
-
Custis and Allardyce are mates. He travelled with Sam in the helicopter to SJP.

I don't really mean that you know, but every time that Fat bastard spouts his lies and propaganda, we should be looking to ridicule him with our own

why ? it was depressing to watch, poor match Because of the significance and importance of it. For that reason it was on live earlier. Those who wanted to watch it including myself, watched it earlier. Should be on last in my opinion, as that match has been done to death. The pretty much admitted during the analysis of the game that there weren't many good clips to show. It's fair enough though that we are one of the lesser matches tonight though.

Well it took us a few months under Keegan for us to clear the rubble of the collapsed Empire State Building, but once that was done, Keegan managed to build the Great Pyramid of Giza in a month.
-
Yeah, from a neutral perspective, our game wasn't as important or exciting and had less talking points than most of today's other games.

Fair Play League is that the sixteen fairest International teams registred with UEFA get put in a hat, and four of those teams get an extra place in the UEFA Cup, given to the fairest team in that country's top division that is not already in Europe.

Dunno, but it would still take a lot of luck to be in the top 10 (only top 10 clubs can qualify these days)

You mean the same Hutton who got out paced by Geremi last week? And aye, one LB is always the way to go It was O'Hara who Geremi outpaced. Hutton was one of the few Spurs players to come out of the game with their reputation unscathed.

Beye does a lot of World Interviews. I'd say that his English is better than Martins' despite Oba coming from an English speaking country. He clearly took English lessons while at Marseille because he wanted to play in England some day.

Seems to be improving every game at the moment.
