To be fair, we do have the habit of overrating any new signings/emerging youngsters even when we know next to nothing about them. Example being putting Cacapa and Enrique in Newcastle/Spurs dream teams after 90 minutes against Barnsley. Given past performances of other supposedly amazing players that sign for us, I initially rate all of our new players at 5 out of 10, and it is up to the player to show that they are better or worse than that. Reputations mean nothing to me, its what they do for Newcastle that counts.
