In terms of getting Newcastle fans to stay at home Tomorrow evening is the best moment to announce
-
If you want a break from the takeover thread, head over to the Almiron thread where apparently Obertan is the better player
-
That is genuinely one of the worst posts in forum history
-
So has anyone been building Lego since lockdown began?
-
I did because you can’t just sign four new strikers and he has something to offer.
-
He’s by far the best striker we have, on the basis of a sub option he’s still effective no matter who we sign in the summer
-
The year is 4518. Neil Warnock has just been appointed manager of Championship strugglers Everton. It’s his last job. Meanwhile on the Newcastle United Saudi takeover thread fans have moved on to discussing musical hits from Timor-Leste in the 38th Century. Dave still hasn’t returned.

Can't see anything being released today. They won't want fans near SJP on a match day. If they do, they could announce it after the match. Most people will be in home by then. The people who do go out to gather at SJP are going to do that whenever it’s announced. Think they’ll do it mid match at the weekend and Shearer will be asked to keep the fans in check

I’ve just discovered what is meant by Richard Keys having tarmaccing done

I don’t think it’s as clear cut as saying that Bruce was hiding behind 523, he tried something else earlier in the season and quickly became clear it wouldn’t work. Think losing Rafa, Perez, and Rondon really broke the players confidence and we had to maintain stability in defence and rebuild offensively as we got points on the board and got more confidence. Wouldn’t be surprised if we went on to be top 6 form for last 9 games now. Want him gone but he’s done better than we all expected in what has practically been a caretaker manager role.
-
Is there a manager who hasnt relied on luck at some point to get results? If not then why hold it against Bruce? Over a season you make your own luck
-
There are a number of deficiencies in the playing squad notably the loss of Perez and Rondon, which meant we should have been expecting to be languishing right at the bottom. Yes on paper we could have lost many more games and overall over the course of the season I think he has generally made the right decisions given the poor hand he had. Obviously don’t want him here next season but he’s done the most important thing really, he gave the club an extra year to get the takeover done, and he got us into a position that made us look investable in March - something Rafa didn’t because we were always a bit to close to the bottom to attract serious buyers.

1. Ginola 2. Robert 3. ASM 4. HBA

We’ve scored 17% of all of Sheffield United’s goals conceded
-
Nee lockdown breaches from Fabian. #Respect I’m pretty sure Shelvey has been a model citizen in this regard
-
Remember when we were all worried about Bruce having the players a lot less sharp and ready than Wilder would
-
Game is won. Let’s use our subs got a big couple of matches coming up

Hope Bruce hasn’t bottled it back to three at the back -
I’ve been thinking that too lately it’s the point of minimum impact as police are apparently concerned. If approved I’d expect Bruce to be told on afternoon of 28th, players told in the Man City teamtalk, and Gary Lineker to be handed a club statement right before kickoff. Shearer will then tell fans not to go to stadium.

This seasons refunds never had any bearings on the takeover because it was a committed bill no matter who owned the club. We were just waiting until la as t minute to check attended games weren’t happening
