What the fuck's happening on this PA?

Yet another must win game.

Stability. It's tricky. SBR had a few poor seasons at the start of his reign, but we persevered. Because he was Bobby Robson. In five years time Pardew is still gonna be Alan Pardew.

He really is a leader, he leads by example and I know that sounds weird after he tried to walk away from the club but it's still true on the pitch. On the pitch, I agree.

He ain't really a leader, but he can at least organise a defence and take charge at the back.

But you'd welcome an upgrade? Upgrade by definition means improvement, so I'd imagine the answer would obviously be yes. Generally, I agree with Dave tonight (though not so vociferously about the Benfica performance). I'd only want to move Pardew on if there was a cast-iron certainty we'd bring in somebody better. Right now, I can't see that happening so I'd prefer to stick, rather than twist. Aye, I know. I was just being an arse.

everyone knows we need an upgrade. No they don't. I think they do. Just a lot are unsure we're able to get an upgrade in.
