  1. Keegan, for reasons too obvious to mention. He was top closely followed by Ian Rush. :s
  2. Also, Tiote had absolutely no influence on the match. A lot of huffing and puffing resulting in the sum product of nowt.
  3. I struggle sometimes to understand how top international footballers can't pass a ball accurately even at short distances. The only explanation I can come up with is that they overthink it. In. which case, they are being asked to do things that don't come naturally to them. Football is a simple game. Let's get back to basics.
  4. Wouldn't part with any serious cash for him, like.

Have we nobody in the development squad who can help us out? I thought that was kinda the point?

    Darren Bent

Good player. Would be a decent signing at the right price. Certainly score the goals that would keep us up.

Think Santon is overrated on here, tbh.
  8. If he went to Man Utd/City he'd be brilliant. Fact is the players around him aren't good enough.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

I'd flog him for £20m, like. Doesn't play enough, hardly ever match fit, often selfish. On his day, he's a world beater, but not convinced we're gonna see that often in a black and white shirt.
  10. He's a bloody terrible footballer. Had the odd decent game in CM/LB but an absolutely atrocious season from him in general. Mind-blowing he played as much as he did.
  11. He must be really getting into those French CDs.
  12. Cup, obviously. The PL is a joke anyway when you can be absolutely shit all season and still finish in the top half.
  13. Aye. Liverpool should do well if they get their shit together.
  14. Happy for wor Chris. WBA utterly shite.
  15. What the fuck's happening on this PA?

    Alan Pardew

Stability. It's tricky. SBR had a few poor seasons at the start of his reign, but we persevered. Because he was Bobby Robson. In five years time Pardew is still gonna be Alan Pardew.
  17. Interesting that I imagine some of fondest and proudest memories of recent years must have come from the Championship season...
  18. He really is a leader, he leads by example and I know that sounds weird after he tried to walk away from the club but it's still true on the pitch. On the pitch, I agree.
  19. He ain't really a leader, but he can at least organise a defence and take charge at the back.

When did Nixon turn into HTT?
