We want Choudhury, Leicester will let him go if they can get Chalobah, Watford will let him go if they can get a Longstaff. We are too confused to make anything happen and Bruce will blame the press and fans.

TBF we need a midfielder more than a defender. Good point He has turned down going to Southampton because he wants to play CM. Given his age and potential we should be approaching to sign him permanently. They were willing to sell in the summer. He fits the profile of players we "target", other than the fact we have to pay actual money for him. If the takeover wasn't bubbling away and the pandemic we would likely offer 8-10m to try and sign him imo. UPDATE: Moot point - SSN - Agreed loan deal with WBA, heading for medical.
-
Fuck sake, just let him go man. Blatantly only keeping him because we failed to bring in a LB.

Not sure the under-26 policy is as unmoveable as it once was. Carroll, Rose, Hendrick, Wilson - all over 26. 'Keep us up inexpensively' appears to be the only meaningful policy in all football operations. Above all it's Premiership experience they look at now, Bruce banged on about a lot. Guess we will see if carr is really back lol Yet he would probably be one of our best midfielders lol.

Especially when it's a loan. Doubt they care about the age. More how much the wage split it.

Next up. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9205879/Newcastle-trying-convince-Arsenal-let-Joe-Willock-loan.html If we are getting anyone from Arsenal I hope its Maitland-Niles. Higher upside and versatile to our needs. Thankfully just two days of nonsense left.

On the flipside this type of shitehawkery from Ashley and co. is exactly what gives hope in the Jones situation being exactly what it looks like. Good luck to Yedlin.

That's whisper gold.

Having watched him prior, we havent even scratched the surface with him. Might have broken him enough to never realise it but we haven't seen what he is fully capable for sure.
-
Palace won today too. Should be an interesting game on Tuesday.
-
Good results for us.

23 times in all competitions. Going into his last year with contract running out May 2022. Only around 7 starts in the league, out injured since December and hasn't got back into the team.

https://footballbh.net/2020/05/27/olivier-ntcham-2019-20-scout-report-tactical-analysis-tactics/ Guess Sissoko wasn't an option and neither was Choudhury!

Absolutely battering West Brom. Draw doesn't look on the cards lol

Jamaal Lascelles (now playing for League One Leicester City)
toontownman replied to Nobody's topic in Football
Only gone and done his hamstring. Will be out a number of weeks according to former manager Bruce. Hope Fernandez is back. -
Easy goal for Man City.
-
Real shame his slightly inconsistent finishing (probably no more than anyone else to be fair) and age will likely keep him out of the England set up unless injuries open a door. Such a quality player.

The undermining damage has already begun. It is all good.

I'll be going absolutely fucking nowhere near a love-in for this no-mark who should be nowhere near the club. As complicit as the rest of them. Just happens to be competent. Come on, if you are going all in, go all in. There is absolutely nothing to say he is actually competent. Enjoy the complete nonsense and Bruce undermining frivolity while we can. Give up on rationality like everyone else

Eddie Howe was buzzing at half time like a cheeky cheshire cat grinning fucker going through our resurgence and tactics.
-
Does he get to do the post match interview? Would be nice if either the interviewer opened with "oh we were expecting Graeme, no?" or Jones just gatecrashes the interview. At any rate. Get those Jones banners made lol
-
Baffling how Bruce ignored him for so long. It felt like a massive upgrade today. Yep. He has been the best RB at the club since the tail end of Rafa's tenure. Not even close.
-
They already have. It is all good. Bruce also now DOF although again it is a returned Graham Carr that is actually doing that job too.
-
Congrats gaffer. Well deserved first 3 points.

Jones talking tactics to players while Bruce is joking around. Commentators on my stream referenced that people will have to look towards the introduction of Jones potentially making the difference this week. Long may that continue. Can't understate the importance of the Win today though for staying up.
