  1. Thanks for not doing this the while season Moussa.
  2. Absolutely mindless. Has to cut that out of his game. Upside he likely won't be in England to serve the three match ban.
  3. Absolutely zero reason for him to come out and talk about staying if there isn't a genuine interest to stay. Whether the morons that run the show do anything about it and make him an offer he can't refuse or other clubs come in for him with better more attractive offers, who knows. That he reportedly has a strong relationship with Charnley is only a good thing for leverage. His future is in the goons and ergo the clubs hands... I'd be happy if retaining our premier league status wasn't also the same scenario and we let it slip through our fingers.
  4. Wouldn't surprise me in the least. It is what the club needs. Ashley is clearly beyond done with the club, although won't sell unless he gets a decent offer that meets his valuation. It's not as easy a situation to call imo.
  5. Club Captain under Bruce next year.
  6. In what way?! Ever?!!! Danny Mills wouldn't know Kevin Keegan's team if they turned up at his front door and kicked him in his stupid bald heed. Much like Keegans Newcastle reserve team?
  7. Just looking at our signings last time we went down. Fucking grim.
  8. Can't wait until he starts pinching some of our squad this summer. Problem is it wont be the likes of Colback, Cisse and Colo. Can see Shelvey, Townsend and maybe Perez going there.
  9. Never dragging on until June. We will absolutely know by next week. Rafa isn't going to piss around that long.
  10. If he doesn't end up at Spurs for real this time we should really go for Dembele.
  11. We don't like. Seen them relegated countless times, no big deal. Would have seen plenty more if we hadn't got ourselves in the habit of giving them points every time we play. Actually we would have seen 1 relegation from them. They would never have had the squad good enough to come back up, for the last few years their player who would have been good enough at that level have been out of contract, and others have been loans. It's only since they signed Defoe have they managed to get players good enough for that level who would have been under contract. Fair points, I meant it more in terms of escalation. We certainly have taken the high road in the past. I think someone would have done the plane thing if the Mackems had gone down though in retaliation. Ashley is certainly creating a new generation of fans.
  12. At his best he was getting close to Woodgate territory. However, I have never seen a defender so composed, so cool and have such a calming effect on those around him than Woodgate. He was the real deal, a terrible waste. No doubt Colo was an absolute rock at his best, I'd put him up there with Woodgate when he was on, but at his worst and over the course of his entire time.. he is closer to Bramble over all than Woodgate. Colo's performances over the past two years have been as, if not more horrific than what Titus offered up. Yes maybe not as many ridiculous mistakes but at least bar the one mistake Titus played great most games.
  13. Wish we didn't have mongs that would do the exact same thing if the position was reversed.
  14. Honestly thought they wouldn't even speak to Rafa until next week earliest. Either way I think we will know by Monday. Will just have to wait til October until Cathro is formally announced as Head Coach.
  15. Will be an absolutely torturous few months the minute Rafa walks. Just like last time, don't be fooled by the imminent pledge of allegiance and "I'm staying to make it right" tweets. If they get offers they are off.. All of them. Can't wait for the damn window to be shut in September already. It is the only time we will know what we have. Taylor's out of contract this summer. Fixed to my thinking. Have absolutely no idea who will still be here. We will absolutely want to keep our better younger players and a couple of the experienced older ones but everything will come down to what we are offered and who comes in for which player. Going to be a summer of losing Beye all over again.
  16. How about he looks to himself and also SJH for so badly misjudging selling shares to Ashley and sitting by ever since and watching the implosion. The state that man left this club in prior to Ashley was approaching Leeds territory. While Ashley has fucked us from almost every angle, financially we are at least in a solid place.
  17. Thanks for the good times Colo and good luck elsewhere next year. Definitely time to go.
  18. High probability we will loan a bunch of players for a year and hope we go back up too.
  19. Think he would have been good for us if he was coming into a team playing with confidence. Complete luxury player not able to cope with the pressure of everything around him turning to shit. He isn't alone. So much for our insistence about bringing in the 'right characters' and doing our homework to make sure they knew and could handle the pressure. They all have to go, Carr, Charnley the lot of them.
  20. Think if he is staying he will confirm that before Spurs. If radio silence, he is offski. The latter being almost a complete certainty.
  21. First game back. Aye until the dark cloud of Pardew arrived and then it just wasn't the same anymore Yep. I'm always going to remember this as the pardew era. He's ruined my love for this club. Was great til they sacked Hughton. Honestly haven't played free flowing attacking football and had a manager and players that united the crowd since. Well until now when its too late.
  22. Resigned myself to relegation at Christmas ffs. Agreed with Ian, so not fussed. Mostly pissed off I won't be able to watch any of our games next year. There was hope and a bit of fun when Rafa came but it was always a long shot. We don't deserve to stay up, we need a new team, new set up, new owner, the lot. Doubt we will get it. Ashley likes making us take the long road, he is going to have to take it himself unless he realizes how fucking horrific he and his appointments have been to a once proud and best supported team in the league. If/when we are good enough we will come back to the Premier league, almost simple as that. Its the useless bastards the run the club and play for it that have let us down fuck all we can do about it. The majority is too down trodden and blase about dogshit football being the norm. Can complain about other teams getting lucky but we have been fucking atrocious, easily the second worst team in the league, despite having a squad far from it on paper.
  23. Weez doon. I can downgrade my tv package on the upside. Zero point now.
  24. Leaks won't come from him... unless he is putting the pressure on Ashley to give him full control. Absolutely possible mind games. Not that he needs to though. You'd think he has the club bent over backwards wanting him to stay, we know better about how inept Ashley and the board are though.
  25. Bugger that.. cometh the time of Benitez departure cometh the man that kicketh the boards.
